Gallery of log for The Big Issue!
Yesterday was the last day of our 7 week excursion to the northern island. While waiting to board the Spirit of Tasmania, we went into central Melbourne specifically to but a copy of the Big Issue for this cache. We purchased a copy from a pleasant young woman in Swanson Street. It then gave us something to read whilst on the boat home last night - the photo is of one of use reading an article whilst the ferry sailed down Port Phillip Bay.
An article of interest in Big Issue #411 was "Fun & Games", an interesting, funny and thought provoking article by Alan Attwood looking at the athletes, sports and controversies of the games in the modern area, 1896-2012. How do games ideals match up with the reality? Are modern athletes any different to those of yesteryear? Are there too many "Mickey Mouse" events? No matter what your views of the Olympic Games, this article will make you think and make you smile and, as the author says, we will be watching.
As now one else has claimed a find on this cache, we will claim a FTF. thanks for the cache.
