Gallery of log for B&W (V) Balranald
WanderingAus wandered by on day 120 of our annual Climatic Refugee trip, making our way from Darwin towards Perth via Mount Isa, Townsville, Emerald, Goondiwindi, Gunnedah, Young, Yass and Wentworth.
While wandering around Balranald taking photos for Waymarks I crossed the bridge over the Murrumbidgee River, and noticed the icon for this Virtual on the gpsr.
After Waymarking the Waymarkable items on the three bridges I returned to the point on the pedestrian footway nearest to the given coords and took a couple of photos and screen captures, with the gpsr bouncing between 9 and 12 Croms from GZ, which appears to be in the far lane about in line with the join in the concrete wall - I left that spot to the trucks.
I then made my way to the river bank, where I was unable to get closer than 26 Croms from GZ, which appears to be in the middle of the fast flowing river, under the edge of the bridge, but I still took some photos and screen captures anyway.
My find No 5,110, TPLF (took photos left footprints)
