Gallery of log for An Inappropriate Dinosaur
Hi fuffyfish
Anne and I have finished our three day tour of the West Coast; having stayed at Queenstown, Zeehan and Burnie for two nights, today it was head for the South and home. We also enjoyed visiting the towns of Strahan, Rosebery, Tullah, Waratah and Savage River. Both of us have really enjoyed our sojourn and it is a shame that all good things come to an end. The memories of this trip will be treasured.
This cache was the nineth on the agenda for today.
I drove from "Turners Edge" at Turners Beach to this cache located just outside Deloraine. Had been talking to the previous finder and asked if he could bring the dinosaur with him to an event we were both going to attend. Cheesy pigs said that he had found the cache but had left it where he had found it. Hence, I stopped during my travels and collected it today. The cache was extracted, the log signed at 1520hrs and put in the car to be hidden in southern Tasmania later. Now off to the next cache find as we head south.
Found five caches in total for day one. Day two, eleven caches found. The third day coffed up nine cache finds and two "Did Not Finds" but I think those two caches maybe missing in action. Day four resulted in sixteen cache finds and today, the final one of the trip, resulted in 12 finds. Total for the trip was 53 cache finds. Happy with that!!
Have had a better time watching Anne's face as she got a better look at the West Coast. She's loved Nelsons Falls, Strahan, the Museum at Zeehan, the falls at Waratah and her visit to Wynyard plus the gear she purchased during retail therapy.
Thanks for the cache and the fun of the find
Cheers OldSaint.
