A nice walk from Heathcote Station on a beautiful if somewhat hot Spring day. Sadly the mast and vanes have long gone although the anchor points for the three stay cables are still there.
The pedestal sit exactly in the middle of the remnants of the original cairn the circular outline can still be clearly seen.
There is cache right there but I could not be bothered to look for it as it is a micro (a film can at that) in fact I forgot all about it until 50 metres down the track on the way back and it took all of a micro second to decide it was not worth the trouble!
