Parked at the first of two locked gates at the 'end' of Riverbank Dr and walked the up and down track alongside the wide Nepean River fed by a gushy Cripple/Fitzgerald creeks. Watching the full spread of water after the rain, this Trig was almost passed, when a glance uphill sighted it in the damp overgrowth. A slippery tentative climb to near as le 'mushroom was prepared to go, which was not quite the last hard yard. Trig stands with back to the River.

Returning to the GeoReindeer, a THIRD gate across the 'road' was closed behind ... with a Private property sign attached. Hmmm. Opened (and reshut) and scuttled away.

May explain the time between logging this Trig ... it is a pity if the 'end of road' has been flogged off to private hands, and the kilometre walk along the river closed for the want of a couple of hundred metres ... would be most pleasant in the summer.
