Have always liked finding these survey markers, and it was not a nice walk spoiled (!)
My 'el cheapo' GPSr does not 'cut it' on this kind of hike, so was glad I could borrow a better one sometimes (from the cacher who educated me from being a muggle / eccentric trig hunter).
Rather rocky on the way up, and even harder on the way down as the sun had already set by then. Found the trig about 1720. Good condition, poor views.
