We headed to North Head today to pick up this series of trigs - 6 in all. We'd been here a couple of years ago to see if we could spot any, this was before the publishing of all these additional trigs, but didn't spot anything. No wonder. Even this monster is well concealed although we saw it from the lookout. We parked uphill from the cafe (free parking and walked to four of the trigs. We followed this nasty old wall with its broken glass on the wrong side until there was a break and came up the other side to the obelisk. Amazing something so big and historical has no track to it or any information about it. Carved in graffiti was present from 1918 and earlier. Even the "spray paint" was actually tar painted on from the same era. Very interesting find. We were only 3TF?
