Today we walked up onto Barrenjoey Head for the first time in my life having seen this feature from so many directions over the years. Finally came up for a couple of trigs and enjoyed some of Sydney's best views. This trig couldn't be easier than it is at present after the bushfire which means you can see the trig from the track.

Of course this means the poor old mast has been melted and fallen off - not sure where the vanes went. You can see a lot of bolts and brackets in the rock which indicated a previous trig by the look of it. I did find a locating pin which may qualify the old trig as a trig for listing.
