After a quick find on the STBMPT cache, there was the ponder over the location for the two Charles. On 'that' hill it seemed and it was off to wander in the general direction. The 'mushroom is a tentative soul at best, so it was with some misgivings the above the roadside clamber was undertaken - and somewhat disconcerting with the brittleness of stone. But to the top and at a turn the New Charles stood resplendent.
On a windless, sunny day the peace was barely interrupted with the low traffic on the BLoR and the grand almost 360° view could be taken in.
Both New and the Old Charles were duly noted (trig finds 99 and 100).

A suitably happy surprise too, with an 'uneventful' downhill return.
