Logs for AussieCacher

21-Sep-24
My son B777 must be getting addicted to Geocaching. While playing cricket between innings I hear a knock in the door and in his full cricket gear hes holding a geocache. It was located 10M from the car. I helped re-hide the cache.

Nice place for a geocache. This is my furthest geocache found south! I love the camouflage.I had to improvise with a pen as my space pen was in my other jacket. A sharpened stick and signed it AC. TFTC

This was a great find. Crazy to find such a symmetrical formation naturally. Great place to visit. I came across some small rock wallabies on the way in. TFTEC

This was an interesting spot for a geocache. I had fun looking for the two words but found them after a minute. Nice spot. Thank you for bringing me here.

Answers have been sent photo attached. Great place for a virtual geocache. I learnt a bit about Hunter Island and the Causeway today. TFTC

Great place to visit while in town. Nice park and the Monkeys are a little different to find in a park. Answers sent.

Great spot for a Hyde really like this one although I found hundreds like it it was still really cool and as the name says there was no sign of it!!

This was a really cool geocache! Great location and I dont think it will get muggled!

The Goc coach needs maintenance a new lead and a log

What a great virtual geocache to visit. Many years ago, two of my relatives saw what they believe to be a Tasmanian tiger in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney. They took a plastic casting of its footprints and the scientist came back inconclusive.Thank you for bringing me to this virtual geocache.

11-Aug-24
After coming here a few times to replace the geocache I was able to finally access the area with no muggles around today and the ground was fairly dry. This one should not get muggled As a note, I made B777 complete a test on the whereIgo cache to make his find.

04-Aug-24
Attempting to replace the container today. It will depend upon access with the recent rains.

11-Jul-24
Ive been here before while I was in Perth and never knew it was a virtual geocache. This time I stopped buying made the find. This is a really cool place to visit. Answers have been sent photo uploaded.

This is my second find in Western Australia and my first Earthcache in WA. It was bizarre to see this rock and then to read out was formed really cool. Thank you for bringing me here. Answers have been sent.

This was a fun find. I got a few odd looks from some passes by while doing this pose.

My first find in WA. Although I had visited Western Australia several times before I was on work and couldnt find. This was a quick grab near my hotel. I was overthinking things and then make a quick grab.

Me at the earthcache

I stopped by this earthcache while in town for Work. Walking by who wouldve thought that these two large boulders came from two very distinct areas. You learn something new every day. Thank you for the cache answers have been sent.

Thanks for bringing me here. You dont realise until you enter the chamber how many people actually died. I first came here in the evening and found everything I needed except the in chamber was closed so I returned first thing in the morning.

Nice hide with a little extra camo to stop it getting taken. I stopped here in the night and they are always too many people so first thing in the morning only handful of people distracted by their coffee while I made the quick. TFTC

This was a fun find while sitting in whole bunch of park benches which were glowing in the dark photo attached. Mugglers well everywhere but would that be the case, It was an easy grab because there were so many people. They were some people trying to hand out some church literature completely opposite the statue and I was lucky enough to make the grab without being seen. TFTC

I looked for the cache today with no luck. Ill need to return with a new cache.

26-May-24
I attended the final cache location and muggler kids were too close for me to check on it. Ill return another day to check on it. Unfortunately Ill leaving on a holiday for a few weeks. I will attempt to check on the geocache upon my return.

19-May-24
I will check on the cache this week

Ill have to say this cash is not rated what I would expect a 1/1. I like the camo, but as I said its not a one difficulty. One, hes like finding an ammo in the bush in a very obvious location. That being said, this was the first place I checked and found it. For some reason, my GPS was sending me to the pole and not the bus stop. The correct coordinates should be the bus stop. Thanks for the cool camo. Definitely a good one for newbies to find and enjoy some of the really cool unique and unique hides.

Yet another great find on leap day 2024. A nice quick easy find on a very hot day 43C 110F. We waited until close to sunset to make a little cooler and more comfortable to find. Once again, I love the camo on this one.

This was another great fine withB777 2024 leap day. A nice quick easy find after about 30 seconds.

I just finished mowing the lawn earlier in the evening and required some two-stroke oil for my lawnmower and chainsaw, so I thought I would head to Bunnings. It was Leap day 2024, we grabbed several geocaches on the way to Bunnings. We hit Bunnings and decided to park nearby to make the find and see what the fuss was all about.Within 30 seconds, we had the geocache in hand, and then we were lucky enough to grab all the tools. I nearly had to go back and pick up a Ryobi drill pack. My son pointed out earlier, but by that time we had everything we needed. In my opinion with all the tools required, this could be considered a multi-cache.

Pulled up and a bunch of other geocachers were leaving. they offered to tell us where it was, but we were fine to look for it. So many random places this geocache could be but after checking a few spots it was right there.. Always good to show B777 The variety of cached that are out there

I found this cash really quickly with my son on 2024 leap day. Love the camera. A great cache for some newbies to find and see how cool some caches can be.

28-Feb-24
This was a nice quick fine, and a really interesting cemetery great trees and bushes around. The history of the cemetery goes back the long way. Thanks for the cache.

27-Feb-24
My son got out of the car and looked for this one for a short time until I decide to put it in park and walk over and immediately grabbed it. As I used to say found in seconds, thanks for the cache.

Nice spot for a cache. A quick find. makes it an even quicker find.

26-Feb-24
I had walked by this virtual half a dozen times before we decided to find a few geocaches in NZ. This was a great spot. Pic taken

25-Feb-24
Although Ive been to New Zealand four times before this was my first find here. it was a nice quick fine after my son looked everywhere for it and within about 10 seconds, I had it within hand. We passed here earlier and a lot of muggles were around and decided to come back. The second time was a charm and really quick and easy.

23-Sep-23
This was a very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very quick find. I stopped at this park to have a look at the view and my son pulled up the Geocaching app, and as I was looking at the view, he walked over with the cash in hand and said here it is. Nice camo. Thanks for the find.

25-Aug-23
A nice quick find, just right there in front if everyone walking by. A quick stroll from my hotel. After several visits to Adelaide, my first find here which is crazy. TFTC

I didn’t realise with 1 DNF I was expected to stop by. It was more out of courteous if I had time to LOOK. It will be mighty embarrassing if I specifically go and check on the cache and find it.

Cache has been replaced

Maintenance performed. The cache is in great shape after being hidden for 15 years and surviving storms, fires, heavy rain, etc. I replaced many of the old worn reflectors with some orange and brown ones. I'll look at adding a few white tacks later to make it slightly easier.

Went to replace today and it was very boggy. Will try again later in the week.

Please stand by. On returning to place the cache more of the area was destroyed by development. I have found a likely new place for this geocache which won't be destroyed by development.

I require more time to replace this cache. There were come workers at this location when I went to replace it late last week. Please stand by and it will be replaced soon.

Please give me more time to replace the geocache. Too many mugglers here on my previous attempt.
