My dad served in WWII in the European Theater. He was one of the many heroes who were there on D-Day. He passed away in 2005, never seeing the monument.
This is one of the truly awe-inspiring sites here in the city. One of those that reminds us of the cost of freedom. Whenever you see them, thank a veteran.

This FA is in Youngstown, OH on an old hotel located near the corner of Boardman St. and Front St. The ad on the upper left has the slogan "Taste that beats the others cold". I can't remember if that is/was a Pabst slogan or not.
BTW, Youngstown is full of FA's!
