Busy cache today. Had a quick look and did not find it so went and had a pot of tea for two with Nibbo in the Grove cafe. Found the cache straight after, well saw it first. Glad Nibbo was with me as on my own I would never have reached it. Took nothing, left a TT 2008 pin badge. Discovered the coin, did not take.

St John's, Isle of Man, Middle of the Irish Sea. Situated near Tynwald Hill and Church, the park is also known as St Johns Arboretum. Created to mark the Millennium Anniversary of Tynwald 1979(Isle of Man Parliament). The grounds were planted with trees from the 17 Manx Parishes. Wooden signs are engraved with each parish name and mark gatherings of trees, bushes and flower beds.

At St John's, Isle of Man, middle of the Irish Sea. This bridge is over the River Neb which flows into the sea at Peel. It was built in 1820, a very strudy bridge as it used to have to take carts of woolcloth that had been made locally in the mills to the seaport of Peel. It is now tarmaced and can take two medium sized British cars side by side. I drive an RV so I always wait till the bridge is clear before I cross. The bridge sides are now painted white which were not in the 19th century.

Langness Lighthouse, southeast coast of Isle of Man. This Lighthouse overlooks a very rocky area of the Irish Sea. Built in 1880, still in use. Light is two white flashes every 30 seconds. It is now automatic since 1996. The foghorn is huge, see photos attached. The surrounding buildings are now privately owned and all has been repainted recently. On my own so no Photo of me, just my GPS.
