Logs for Gin, Ja and kids

13-Jan-15
Easy find as one kid climbed trees

Easy find, quiet day with few people using the path despite it being school holidays.

Easy find. Tween took one look at the hill and is meeting is at the bottom

Split up in the search for this one, so many great hiding spots.
Very water logged at the moment due to recent rains.

12-Apr-12
Not hard to find - a good one to let the kids loose to find without our interference.

11-Apr-12
Found Ladybutterfly trackable, it will be travelling south to Brisbane suburbs

We didn't find it due to a muggle who had set themself up nearby without intention of moving on. There is only so subtle you can be with kids in tow. We will save this for the next time we visit the area!

It felt like the right spot but kids were getting tetchy. Thankfully not too many people around, might come with the scooters next time Smile

An easy find - with patience - fun to look innocent waiting for the muggles to move on.

Enjoyed this, location sparked curiousity from the kids.

29-Aug-09
Computer problems now fixed and I can update the location of travel bug.

Mr Potato Head is on its way to the northern suburbs of Brisbane. May even have a view over the city.

Kids argued over who made the initial discovery and played with the coin before replacing it. Always surprises me to find caches at places that I have regularly walked right past before. How many more little surprises am I walking by every day?

Ja's first cache adventure. And is now just as enthusiastic as the rest of us.

19-Jul-09
Didn't find it this time round, but I just know we were close. However we had a lovely early morning walk along pristine sands looking for shells and mangrove seeds.

Our first cache outing, and success. My seven year old was excited to be the finder of our little group. We are locals and thought we would start with somewhere familiar, still it took some looking. Great school holiday fun - and so our geocaching adventure begins......Big Grin
