As a European it was thought provoking to stand on the same spot as those early settlers.
We have all the trappings of modern life. What did they have ? Basically what they stood up in and the few possessions they could carry.

Cache could do with a new logbook. Only a few scraps of paper left to work with!
The container was almost in view as we approached. Post 'logging' I pushed the box it well back out of site and replaced the rock to hide it properly.

Nice little chache near the tribute to a great explorer !
