Logs for IthacaDoodle

05-Aug-15
Traveling westward and delighted to be able to stop in Mingo territory today! Amazed to finally be here after hearing about this oldie from Woodland Clan years ago. Loved the vintage metal container, although the logbook was wet. Picked up a 10-Year geocoin and left several signature pencils, and documented this historic find with some photos. many, many thanks for your contribution to caching.

Loved having a chance to catch up with this bear after all these years. Out and about in London picking up a few of the city's highest ranked caches this afternoon.

Answer sent and confirmation received. Uploading a photo. Thanks for maintaining this virtual.

Here from NY with YaleHockeyMom (from CT), on our 5th day of desert caching. Lured by the geoart nearby, we came for a day of caching in Ridgecrest but ended up staying focused on the PT series. We did the Springer/Presidential, Pink Floyd, Food, and Rails to Trails series we were headed to conclude our day with Trona when we stopped for this worthy earthcache. Will post a photo shortly and YHM will be emailing our answers. many thanks!

Here with YHM awaiting Vanelle's arrival so we can head to the ET Powertrail. Enjoyed the location (although not so convenient to swing around to passenger pick up from here!). Many thanks for the virtual in an interesting location - sending email next.

Made a detour to get this one after camping 10K away. The cache is wet and the visitor center was not open. We tried to leave the log in a way that it would dry out. thanks for this outback adventure.

The reluctant doodle is here on a joint Cornell-SAM herp collecting trip but I think they've found more caches than reptiles! many thanks for placing a cache in this remote area so we could have some fun.

One doodle adventuring in the outback while two others at home in Ithaca, NY USA are tracking him on the Spot satellite system - we noticed he was close to this cache and sent him the coords by text, not knowing what kind of reception he might have. Then we notice that the tracking spots are stacking up and that his group is actually camping all but on top of this cache and we are nearly besides ourselves hoping he will be able to get it ... and he did! Just before sunrise this morning. Lovely spot, thanks for the large cache here.
