This CT-133 is on display at the Royal Canadian Legion branch 108 in Leduc, Alberta and is just down the road from the Edmonton International Airport. The Silver Stars or T-Birds had a long career with the RCAF and CF as trainers, Electronic Warfare training support, target towing, fleet support, limited aggressor support and general utility. The last one was withdrawn from service on March 31, 2005.

The newest zoo in Alberta, the Discovery Wildlife Park in Innisfail has a small assortment of animals. But its claim to fame is as the home to the bear that appeared in Dr. Doolittle. You used to be able to "kiss" the bear for a fee! Go to www.discoverywildlifepark.com to find out how to get there.

At the risk of being whipped Wink, I pass by this little Inukshuk probably 3 or 4 times a week. It is about half way about half way between my house and the big Inukshuk at the Second Cup on Whyte Avenue in Edmonton, Alberta logged by mhicks in June 2003. Sure it was made by some art dude and is in someones front yard, but its a marker for me! Once I'm here, just one more Inukshuk until coffee time!
