Our last cache during our visit to New Zealand and a bit of a disappointment. Like everybody else we had to walk the long way round the block and when we found the cache it was poorly hidden and completely open to the elements. Took nothing, left nothing, just signed the log and eventually managed to get the battered lid back on.

Not many tourists around today, other than us of course. Introduced a NZ friend to the GC game.
Nice cache and well hidden. Took out a milennium medal and left a Candle and a 1 crown coin from Sweden.
Thanks, Leemax

Not so easy to find when you come from Sweden and have no idea what a punga is, let alone a manuka!
But we found it anyway, largely thanks to our highly developed GC nose [:o)] and the the rest of the hint.
Took a small kiwi and left a Swedish candle and a 1 crown coin.

You say you can park 120 metres from this cache, but you don't say that it is 120 metres vertical!
Well, every metre of the way up was repayed by the fantastic views from the top.
Took out 20 cents and left a Swedish coin and candle.
Thanks for a truly great cache [^]

A quick break between showers on our way up to the Coromandel and fairly easy to find when we had read the hint.
Took nothing and left a Swedish coin.

What a wonderful place!
Quite a climb up to the cache, but it was worth it to see all the beautiful flowers that were out even in the middle of winter. Especially impressed with the magnolias and the orchids. [^]
Took a fishing float and left a Swedish candle and a Sw. 1 crown coin.
Thanks for taking us to this marvelous site.

A bit tricky finding the right cul-de-sac and then the way down to the beach. Neighbours were a bit curious!
Took the flier toy and left a Swedish coin and a small sewing kit from a hotel in Copenhagen.

The falls were really roaring today and there were many people on the path, but we managed to get in there and log our find. In fact we could see the cache quite easily from the path so we rearranged some branches to make it a bit safer. Hope that was OK
Took a little plastic padlock and left a Kronoborgs Regiment sports medal and 1 crown coin.
Thanks for a great cache,

What a climb up and down for us oldies, but it was really worth the effort. That small bay is absolutely perfect!
No problems finding the cache as the coordinates were spot on. Took a doggy pin and left an eraser and a Swedish 1 crown coin.
Thanks for a lovely cache [^]

Nice easy one to find and plenty of room for the TB Snowflake travel bug which we have brought all the way from Sweden.
Thanks for a nice cache.

When we arrived at the cache location we wondered what was so special about the view and then the mist beyond the nearest hills rolled back and WOW!
This was our first real cache in NZ on our visit from Sweden and a really great one too.
We took the Hamilton badge and left the Travel Bug One Million Dollars which we picked up a few weeks back on the island of Oeland, just off the east cost of Sweden.

Unfortunately not very good weather when we were there, but it was great anyway and a nice break on our way south. Thanks.

Menai Bridge connects the island of Anglesey with the mainland of Wales. It was designed by the famous engineer Thomas Telford. The bridge is 579 feet between the towers and as it was opened for use on January 30, 1826 it is one of the oldest suspension bridges in the world.

Being lazy by nature, I liked this one, especially when it's below freezing and there is lots of snow outside!. It was very interesting reading too.
