Logs for Lyn Pat and Nathan
24-Nov-24
We had just been to a concert at the Regal theatre and wondered if there was a geocache nearby. The app showed that there was one 2m away. How cool was that? Cache was found easily and logged.
We packed a hot day to go out geocaching but this was an easy park and log cache.
We picked a hot day to geocache but as they are drive by types that are not too hard to do.
21-Nov-24
We had a very long look around. The GPS and the phone were both wandering us asking in circles. We eventually gave in. We would need more info to find this one.
A quick find as the Camo was not perfectly in place. We logged it and placed it back a bit better. A very windy day but a nice temperature for walking around the parks. Thanks for the nice location.
A unique cache. Finding parking was hard and then dining the cache took about 10 minutes.Of course as we were looking the one car that someone wanted to drive was right where we were about to look. Thanks for the cache

This Cache is boring like anything we have seen before. We thought about options that didn't involve damaging it. Very quickly we worked out a way to extract the cache container and return it afterwards.Jay as we were finishing a guy walks last with a double mattress on a sack trolley. Nothing to be seen here. This is normal Belmont behaviour.
I found it but the log was missing. So while here I replaced it. I had great plans to do more caches but then got a call to come home.

We love the workmanship you have put into this cache. We had to get past the tree loppers so that means we parked about 150m away but the walk was nice. Thanks for the cache.
As luck has it there was a muggle nesting right ontop of the cache. It's surprising how often this happens. They moved on after a while and we located the cache in seconds.Cache logged in one of the few vacant locations we could find in the log scroll. Thanks for the easy adventure.
We had a very long look for this cache. We went back through the old logs and photos. No luck finding this one.
We located the cache easily but then had to improvise a suitable tool using our phone charger cable and a stick. We were very surprised it worked. We don't usually travel with the general tools required for many of the less common caches but we still got this one.
There were some workers painting the jetty and they told us to beware of the wet paint. 35c today so the paint was dry as that applied it.Cage was doing after a short search and a good look from a safe distance. The tide was a long way out today.
We had a swim at Port beach and found this one on our way home. We parked at the end of Pearce st and walked the last 15m to the cache. Thanks for the easy one.
We found a spare location in the log scroll and added our name. We sat on the nearby seats and wrote the log for the cache. A very very relaxing place to sit right in the heart of the suburbs. The flies were a problem today.
The hill, the nearby water and the tree cover make the coordinates variable. The photos should guide you to the location of the cache.
14-Nov-24
A bit day to be geocaching but we were in the area so did a few. The lunch bar nearby was very tempting.
My mums local shops. A quick find with ample parking nearby. The ants were watchful but I stepped over them to get to the cache.
A very hot day but I got lucky and found it quickly.AI have encountered one of these cache types before on an Armco rail and had a tough time if it so I'm glad this worked out easier.
11-Nov-24
I found it out in the open so moved it back to the location hinted in the description.None and easy even if we did it at night after being at the Parkerville Tavern for the afternoon.
08-Nov-24
Coordinates were excellent. We found the cache after carrying a few thousand flies to the location. A nice easy cache with a moderate walk to get to GZ.Thanks for the morning walk.
The flies are friendly and I'm not a geologist so I've done my best with the answers. Thanks for the excursion that has also overlaped with other caches in the area.
We wanted right past the cache then the GPS turned us back around so we could see it. Thanks. This is an interesting and forgotten bit if bushland that must only be known by the people that live around here. There are many more paths than you would expect.
Another virtual cache found and completed. The files are friendly today. Thanks for the easy one

"I had a cunning plan". I used a tool I use for another hobby and the cache location was revealed very quickly. Getting it out and getting it back were the harder parts.I can cc we what so many people have trouble with this one but overall it's not a bad cache for a nano.Parking is great.
31-Oct-24
In a world of Nano caches it is nice to encounter one that is small not nano. There is a nice park nearby with some shade trees if your need to picnic and 2 hour parking on the side street.
After looking around and changing back through the logs then checked the satellite images. I think I know the likely hiding method but I don't think I have much chance of finding it as the location is too busy and last thing I want is to get arrested for looking dodgy.I did search the place I thought it would be and saw possible concealments but none were fruitful.
25-Oct-24
I had a coffee while searching the obvious location but alas my neck injury wont allow me any more searching. That's one of my limitations these days.I felt for it and half expected to be rewarded with a red back bite still no no luck. I read back though the logs and think I was in the area but most probably just didn't touch the right thing. I will keep an eye on it just to see if it gets found in the future. Thanks for the different sheet of cache hide.
There are but many sleeping in the area so that made for a quick find. This is a very busy area. Watch out for those that do not geocache. They may be looking. It took me a while to work out what the temporary sign nearby meant. See photo. I thought it was a battering ram at first.
After a bit of a search and improvised tool I managed to get the cache. I also got a few comments from passing cars. I always find it funny that someone wants to yell at you while you are searching. I can't say I ever feel I should do that to anyone. Each to their own.
A few spikes of the nearby foliage before I raised I was looking in the wrong place. The cache name helped.Another beautiful Perth day but it looks like it's going to get hotter than I like.
Trust your GPS. Very accurate coordinates had me cc staring right at the cache. This is a popular walking and exercise area at watch it for those sneaky non geocachers.
A very quick find. I remember when they placed the speed humps along here. It was very controversial at the time as I think they may have been some of the first ones in Perth. We all had that mate who would go along here way too fast or would consider event time he cc answered when he needed to do a burnout. My pockets were not deep enough and my car's were not good enough to do either of those activities.
The cache name says it all. You still need more than a casual glance to see it. The wetlands are surprisingly high still.
I was sure how quickly I found this one. I usually have trouble seeing them with my aging eyesight.I can remember as a kid when this was a gravel road but was more of a track.
I found a good parking area with only a 50m walk. I just needed to use the vacant lot. Coordinates were very good but we had a good idea where it would be as we approached.
A quick find after getting the coordinates from the checker. Another one compete.
I found it after letting my fingers do the searching. This could be be tricky as I had not looked at the clue until after I found it. It's been a while getting around on to finding me this as I had finished the lab cache a long time to ago.Today is very much the sort of day that leads into hot Perth weather. Clear blue skies. Then we go into summer hibernation.
The GPS had me at the wrong option but after expanding my search I found the cache. There were lots of non geocachers and their dogs. The dogs kept saying hello so I had to pat a few of them. The dog owners would not let me pat them though. Fair enough I guess. This is the suburb I grew up in. My sister used to live about 100m away from here. Thanks for the trip down memory lane
Coordinates had me looking 10m away. I found the cache atS32.00.651 E115.56.361There was also a handy tool to use. I'm not sure if v that was the intended idea but it worked for me.
I found the small cache but the log book was full and the cache was such that it could get pushed in too far and never found again.I looked at my cache repair kit and had a suitable container but needed a way to place it so it could be found and extracted easily. I found something suitable and did the repairs.I will send the info to the CO so that they are up to date with what it is and where it is.
I've seen a similar one before and know how much trouble I had finding that one. This time I was wise and used one of my tools I often use in similar situations.Cache was found but I did have to wait for a few dog walkers to vacate the area between finding it and replacing it.
I found it then it slipped into a location I could not get to as I was recovering it. I improvised a tool to get it back out. I left the room in place to prevent the same issue. The hide is the same the location is the same it just can't slip into the beyond.
22-Oct-24
We realise we have already done this cache but forgot to log it. That's something we do from time to time. A quick cache with only a few options. Dont try if there is an event on
21-Oct-24
For some reason there was security in the area so I had to wait for him to be looking the other direction when searching. The cache was found after reading the clue and then understanding its meaning.
The clue was perfect. I'm glad it had the clue as the coordinates were pointing much further away. A cold wet night for geocaching but that's also means there are less people out and about.
Too many people and too public a location. We will Need a better clue before we look for it again. City caches are not our sweet spot.
It took a while as it's so well camoed. Sony these at night can be hard as I didn't want to use a torch but I probably should have. Thanks for the interesting cache and we think it's worthy of a favourite point.
We have driven just this Cache numerous times but it's usually when we can't park here. We happened to be in the city tonight and have some a bit of night caching. This is was an easy find. There was a homeless guy sleeping on one of the sheltered benches. On such a cold wet night you can see there are people doing it tough.
