Logs for Road&Rail

Took this turnoff on the way north. A short walk with a steep gradient initially. Met the local council pest controller checking his fox baits. After introductions I mentioned the dead lantana & he explained it had been sprayed using a splatter gun. A well hidden & stocked cache. Thanks Tuena.
Carefully avoided the graves but had no luck here. Could barely get a fix. Looked around for a while then turned my attention to the graves. Interesting place. Thanks Odee.
Passing through so dropped in. Several muggles about so read the dedication - an amazing horse. Grabbed in a flash as they turned their backs. Thanks Tuena.

Took the long way to make a morning out of it & see all the wild flowers along the way. The bridge is under water but still able to ford the stream. When near GZ but still on the track I could see the container so rehid it. Left a HP noose, took nothing. That's it for caches in here - both enjoyable walks.

Dropped in on the way back from Tables & Chairs. Dodged several locals heading towards Berry. Was going well until one came from the opposite direction. Gave me a suspicious look but fortunately I had already rehid the cache. Phew! TNLN.
Took the opportunity to walk to the cache on my way home from work. I've been up there a few times. Found easily - just follow the track. Boronia are in flower & their perfume is devine. Crush the flowers between your fingers. Saw a wallaby, numerous small birds, a wombat near the steel gate (have seen him there before) & a young brown snake near the first clearing. Took a piggy key ring & left a set of screw drivers. A very pleasant break to my journey.

Against my better judgement decided my first attempt would be this one, as not far from home. Read the comments. A bit of emotion there! Got the impression from Big Matt that should be looking for something other than a container. Philma mentioned a hill so rechecked my co-ords. Figured the stairs must be the area to concentrate on so spent a good hour looking at & around them. The saw-miller has some numbers engraved on the railings so entered a combination of these & walked out to a rock platform & then not far from a public lavatory. Obviously the wrong track here. Went back to the stairs & skirted around them to a distance of 5 metres, as this was my GPS accuracy. Not sure what I'm looking for. Trees & GPSs don't mix all that well. My Garmin's ESP did me no favours. Thanks for an entertaining couple of hours out of the wind.
