Another chat with my new Melbourne geocaching friend Thursday night led me to try to find this one at the wee early hours of the morning ... and one last time. This time, I found it quickly, made the sign, return and you should have seen the smile on my face!! Thanks Alansee for a nice hide (now, a favorite!) and the Laurenda team for the help, support and warm welcome to Melbourne! See you soon & cheers! TFTC. SL.

Nice size in an urban setting. Quick find and beautiful view!! TNLN. TFTC. SL.
A kind reach out by Laurenda following his find today provided me increased hope that I would find it. Though I didn't have much time, I did return to the area without much luck - there were security folks nearby and though I looked quickly where I believed it was, I didn't find it and had to take off so that my presence didn't compromise the cache. Laurenda's find confirms that of the choices in my DNF log, I am not as good of a cacher as I thought I was! I'll have to try for this one next time I'm in the area. Anyway, it was nice to hear from a fellow cacher and chat briefly - thanks, Laurenda for the contact and happy hunting!!
A great cache for my 1,800th find. I love this street with the great shops, foodies, atmosphere and the challenges of finding a cache - SO MANY PEOPLE!! I wandered through here yesterday, but there were just too many people. Today, I arrived a wee bit earlier, though there were lots of muggles everywhere; however, they were mostly absorbed in their own thing. So, I made the quick grab, sign, and replace before grabbing a baguette for dinner on the way out. Very nice and a favorite of mine. TFTC. SL.
Tricky to get to, but pretty quick find. As FYI, the container no longer (if it ever did) has a top on it. TFTC. SL.
Luckily no spider bite for me ... but based on a previous log, I was watching! Nice and quick cache along this beautiful river! TFTC. SL.
Interesting art ... like waves!! Enjoyed the search and cache - thank you, Rebel Alliance (answers just emailed to you)!

Man, do I love Melbourne! This is a fantastic area and while here, crew teams were racing. Beautiful! As I made the return of the cache, a cyclist buzzed by and said "Geocaching, Yeah!!". Brilliant and thanks, mate! TFTC. SL.
It's always frustrating when you have very little time to cache and then you stumble upon one that should be straight-forward, but then you can't find it. Such is this one (at least for me). Based upon the hint, pictures and description of the cache, I thought this would be a sure bet ... but after looking for 45 minutes, I decided it is either missing or I am not a very good geocacher after all!! Hope it's still there and if the CO or someone has a chance to check in the next 24-48 hours, I'll be sure to try it again before I leave Melbourne. Regardless of finding the cache ... I greatly appreciate Alansee bringing me to this location - how very cool it is and wish I could have seen some of the practice going on. Thanks!!
What an amazing and beautiful spring morning here on Melbourne. Perfect weather for caching (and pretty much anything else!). Loved the location of the hide. Well done! TFTC. SL.
Great cache and thanks for bringing me to this site. Wonderful views and love the audio hint. TFTC. SL.
Made the attempt, but couldn't make out the Oxford miles. Don't know if it was the timing of the sun or that I need glasses. Very hard to make out. Tried a few options based upon what I could make out and after 45 minutes decided to call this one. Bummer - very nice area.
Lots of people in alleys smoking ... making many of these caches in the area difficult. Fortunately, with the help of the hint, this one was quick. TFTC. SL.

Just pulled off for gas and thought I'd check to see if there was a cache nearby. Voila! I need to stop searching for caches when it's pitch dark out!! TFTF. SL.
