TB visit.

The planning for this journey began months ago and now we are living it. The four of us left Tennessee for South America in search of Mission 4: Southern Bowl, the last remaining APE cache in the world. 6Lindseys, MLRS1996 and Monkeybrad and I shared in the good times and experiences along the way. We had a blast while finding caches and visiting so many interesting places. Thanks for placing this cache along our journey.

The Old Stone Bridge was built in the early 1800's. It is still in use today on a side road off US 41, north of Nashville, Tn. The concrete was placed around the bottom of the structure for protection from erosion in recent years.
Thanks...

The normal pool at Elevation 445 covers 22,500 acres, capacity at normal pool is 420,000 acre-feet, The concrete powerhouse, spillway and lock is 880 feet long and 98 feet high. The lock is 84' by 400' with a 60' lift. Designed by the U S Army Corps of Engineers with construction beginning in 1952 and completed in 1954 to help develop the Cumberland River Basin. Security measures placed since September 11 do not allow vistors on the actual dam at this time
