Logs for Stantheman13 

This one was my goal for the day and it didn't disappoint! I estimated it would be a 4 mile round trip so I budgeted 2 hours for the trek. It ended up being only 3.6 miles and I did it in 1 hour 13 minutes, stopping to find two others on the way out and another on the way back. I now have a better feel for what it's like to traverse "open desert!" This find also completed a challenge cache of finding 10 caches placed in the year 2000! L - TB. TFTC! 

I'm glad some of the previous finders posted their starting place as Pearce and 43rd. Not being from the area I would have had no idea where to park to start this trek. I made the 3.6 mile round trip in 1 hour and 44 minutes and found 2 others on the way up and another on the way down. This hide was a little tricky but I wasn't going to give up easily after flying out from VA and driving down from Peoria. And I'm glad I brought extra water along with me! Nice hide! L - 2 TBs. T - 3 TBs. TFTC! 

I parked at the trailhead (Hardy Creek?) and walked about 1.5 miles to this one. Definitely needed the hint when I got to GZ since my coords showed I was within 10' and then jumped about 80' away! There was something very much like the hint at my original GZ but not where I actually found the cache. But the hint was still helpful. TFTC!
