Logs for SuchenBisGefunden

08-Oct-19
On our last day before departure, went to look for some caches with HairyHarry. This one eluded us for a little while since the amount if fakken wood provided ample spaces for hiding a box. After reading the hint (yes, the CO was right, we needed the hint) we managed to zero in on the surprisingly large cache and logged it. Thanks for bringing us out here and for maintaining the cache!

PS: log roll is a bit damp but still working

After searching all cabbage trees in the area and avoiding human excrements, we finally read the logs to find out that the original container was gone and that the tree had died. CO please maintain the description and the container and place in an area that does not serve as toilet stop. Thanks those before us who put the temporary cache.

On our last day before departure, went to look for some caches with HairyHarry. This one is number 2 along the lake track. Nice hiding place but container is water logged and log roll is not useable at the moment. Did not have paper with me to replace it.
Thanks CO for taking us here.

Found the GZ and looked over the lake. Mount "Doom" is nicely sticking out if the Tingariro group tonight. Beautiful sight. Thanks for taking us here!

On our last day before departure, went to look for some caches with HairyHarry. With some tenacity and elbow grease, we fought our way in. The cache was quickly spotted and logged and the way out felt like a highway compared to the way in. Great spot, well done. Favo from us!

Looked for it several days in a row but could not locate it. Since no one seems to have seen it since 4 Oct, it may be lost.

On our last day before departure, went to look for some caches with HairyHarry. This one doesn't require a lot of walking (*smile*) but we had to be patient to let all the muggles and cleaning crews leave the vicinity before homing in on GZ. Cache is in excellent condition and view across the like was nice even though some clouds and pesky vegetation!
