This one was an adventure... the ladies stayed back while the men took the long way in and the short way out! Took a little over an hour but it was fun. Glad to grab this oldie! On a 10 day road trip to Yuma, via San Francisco. With our Bestie OcrazyS. Something only cachers do! Left a GeoWoodstock hat when possible Come join us for some fun! In Fort Worth GC7NBWQ we brought back the maze!!!

I'm not a very good story teller so see pathfinder33's log for the full story, it is very entertaining. My thanks go out to Pathfinder33 and Lola'sDream because every other cacher I know would have given up when we got to that washed out road, but not those two. They motivated me and showed the utmost patience when I was having difficulties with the trail.
The spot of the washout is N 39 24.845 W 111 16.310 .I hope you never see it, because if you do, that means you took the wrong road.

Barrett Van Velzer is the next name on the list. 3 men of the Van Velzer family lost their lives that day, how very sad. Lest we forget but sometimes I feel that we have already forgotten. This is day 14 of our 20 day trip around the West. Mile 5206 is in the books.

2 of our favorite tricksters. Day 14 of our 20 day trip around the West. Found at mile 5214. Email to follow.

This one has been on my list for quite awhile. earlier in the week I talked Ray of the OcrazyS into heading out here with me.
He even did me one better.... pointing out that #63 was just down the road in Arlington.... We now have the two oldest caches in north Texas under our belt..... Signed the log and left our trademark TEXAS quarter.... Thank you for maintaining this Cache for so many years
