This former Depot is located in Upper Falls, Newton, MA on Chestnut Street. It is now used as a cafe. The Depot was built in 1852 the year that Otis Pettee started the Charles River Railroad. A small history of the village and an old picture of the Depot can be seen in this PDF pamphlet: http://www.ci.newton.ma.us/Planning/hist/Upper%20%20Falls.pdf

#6 of 11 on the weekend. I hope this counts. This is not technically a minor league field; but rather is the home of the Harwich Mariners, a Cape Cod Baseball League team, the most highly touted amateur league in the country. It is located in Harwich center, and the field gates were closed so most of my pictures are from outside. The most recent major league ballplayer to come from the Harwich Mariners is current Red Sox, Craig Hansen.

#2 of 11 on the weekend. I wanted to log this cache before the locationlesses dissapear. However, I was having trouble coming across something. So when I happened upon this liquor store in Yarmouth, MA I figured I would use it. This is "Luke's" Liquors. I sure hope Luke wasn't hitting this store before going out and operating the Rebel Fighters!
