Plenty of mozzies. Bring the bug spray. Great park for the kids. No space for swappables but a great cache.

Not the most picturesque spot to go. Lots of rubbish and Broken bottles around.

Nice and easy but lots of muggles

Quite an adventure, my 70 year old father and 3 year old daughter faired better than I, mind you I did have to carry her most of the way. We entered from the far side of the reserve and had a great walk. Thanks for bringing us here today. Great cache with a little bush bashing required.
As others have said, fire has been through and melted a few goodies but maybe strangely, I think it added some character. Lucy was impressed.
Swapped out a rubix cube for a frog statuette.

Second attempt at this one , after redoing the numbers a great find for Lucy.
Really great cache, nice history lesson, although the young one got pretty impatient with me having to re work the clues.
Nice little area surrounds Gz, and for anyone with kids who like skate boards, scooters and push bikes there is a little skate/bike park in the general vicinity.
Swapped a toy car for the little plastic horse, SL.

Had to use the hint but got there in the end. No time to enjoy the area as I had to sneak this one in quickly whilst driving from Sydney to Newcastle. I must have been there at peak as the road noise above wast too tranquil, though I assume as the name suggests this spot marks the entry point to a more peaceful setting, just sorry I didn't have the time to investigate.

Thanks

Great cache, nice drive through the fields. Was sorely tempted to re-enact some scenes from dukes of hazard, too scared to write the rental car or a couple of cows off though.
There are some right angle turns that sneak up on you.
Cache in good shape, TNLN

Stealthy find for TomnLucy
SL
All in good order.

Business trip up north, driving from cairns to Townsville. Saw a sign for the beach off the highway and thought to myself, there has to be a cache down there somewhere. Parked and searched for caches by lat/long and wouldn't you know it, I'd parked 100 meters from this one.
Easy find, all in good order. Great beach and little cafe for lunch.

Awesome cache, fantastic Sunday morning stroll.
Swapped some playdoh for a wombat. Lucy was pleased.
We got to the point at 8:30 ish for low tide but you could still walk the sandbar towards midday, great little playground near the chip shop with little rock climbing walls etc.
thanks for taking us here today.

Braved the rain and eventually took photos of the signs etc to work out the puzzle in the shelter of the car.
Pretty confident in my workings and believe we were searching the correct location. But after some time looking, we had to call off the search as the rain came in to hard and a bunch of kids were hanging around the train station.
Will head back another day.

[3 years living in the area and we didn't know about this park. Great spot for an afternoon with the kids so thank you for sending me here today.
Definitely a high muggle area, luckily it started pouring down as we parked and lots of people vanished.
We braved the rain and eventually found the right spot (one digit out on my cords had my feet wet, school boy error for a newbie)
Not sure whether to flag this as a maintenance required or not, I eventually found the cache amongst the leaf litter with teeth marks in the tape, obviously dislodged by a critter of some description. Reason became apparent when opened, found a lolly in the cache. I hope I don't upset anyone but I disposed of this and placed the cache back where I would have expected to find it from all the descriptions.]

[Text below is explanation of placement for owner]

Standing on top rail of fence facing tree, cache is roughly head hight on right hand side, lodged in a nook between tree and thick vine.

[Thanks]

The reason for the name becomes so apparent. Wet feet and plenty of mozzie bites later we found it.
We left the cache as we found it but it wasn't too hidden.
A fun find and a little adventure through the undergrowth for the little one.
Definitely a weekend cache this one.

Our first day and our 2nd find.
As others have said, I was looking for shady walk. Nice walk and a spot to relax though.

Thanks

Our first find! I'm sitting in the park writing this on my phone, joined the site this morning and think we are hooked already.
My three year old daughter Lucy loved the adventure and treasure hunting.
Thanks to whomever left the smurf, we left marbles in his place.
Thanks
