Logs for Wilsonau 

We got yelled at about our parking by some idiot so we went to find another. When we came back it didn't take long to find this well disguised cache. Tftc 

Found out where to look quickly enough, but I believe parts of it are a little out of place. Tftc 

What a beautiful place. Not far from the carpark and interesting cold rainforest for this northern dweller. 

A large wolf spider was hiding underneath! Clever hiding spot. Thanks for this Nut series, really enjoyed it on my working holiday trip from Cairns and not too hard to find them given the muggles about. 

Not keen to stick my hand down any burrows around but luckily didn't need too. Very cool container design deserves a fav point. 

A quick find, had to wait for muggles to pass but glad it wasn't hard and could continue on with this very scenic walk.

I introduced a nice young couple to geocaching. Then took their photo. Thanks for the quick find. 

After walking up the hill I was pleased to find this quickly. 

Came back to try this a second time and saw it quickly. That's an annoying cache but not in the way I thought it would be. Tftc 

This was not where we expected it to be, but eventually we spotted the hide and fished it out of the ants. Tftc 

The GPS had us confused for a bit but once we widened our search we saw this innovative container. Tftc 

Starting off the evening with an easy one, we found it quickly while walking the dog. Tftc 

TFTC, decent walk to the top but great views on a clear day 

Trip down to townsville and had a spare few hours to do the hill hike. Nice day but can see this would get hot easily, go early 

Couple of spare hours to cache, good solid walk up and back but views are great 

Quick find walking past, TFTC and putting it in a spot that doesn't look like you're caching 

Stopped to get this after my tennis lesson, found it quickly. Tftc 

Maintenance may take a couple weeks. 

My second FTF! This cache was so hard it almost wasn't worth it. We went up all the ropes, then it looked like it was down, so we went down. But it wasn't so we had to go back up. Then after slipping a few meters we found it in the only rocks around. On the side of a cliff. I really think this is a bad spot for a cache, but it has a 4 terrain rating so it's sort of justified. Just stay high up and don't go close to the creek, it's actually pretty close to the track. Tftc 

Got this while doing an adventure lab and taking my japanese exchange student to see Cairns. Tftc 

My first FTF! Thanks for taking us up here, it feels like we are halfway to Kuranda from how high it is. Not sure what you were trying to do with the silicone and tape, that won't last outside. Thanks for the cache! 

Such a great view from up here, and a fancy container as well. While the floods didn't affect my house it was still devastating seeing and wading through the water that was halfway up some houses while the power was out. Tftc 

After finding the cache we went up to the water tank but unfortunately there were no better views up there. Good container though, tftc.

Just got this on the way out of town, wish I could have tried the pigeon island cache. Tftc

So amazing to see the bridge and river up close. There were plenty of spiders around but none on the cache itself. Dropped a tb and took a pathtag. Tftc

Had a look at the sunset and beach and found this cache after the people had cleared out. Tftc 

Coordinates changed from:S 16 52.187 E 145 41.057Coordinates changed to:S 16 52.200 E 145 41.023Distance from original: 211.4 feet or 64.4 meters.Replaced the cache in a more hidden spot which has no ambiguity as to what side of the fence it is on.

The cache coordinates are now S 16.865675, 145.688766

Container has been replaced with something a little larger and the hint has been changed.

Looks like it has been replaced since I last looked, but the first stage is faded and the log is missing. Tftc 

Had a look around gz and found where everyone else took photos, so I found this river cave area under the rocks. We also enjoyed the wallabies, birds, and swimming. Tftc 

Thanks for the story and cache, flowers are gone unfortunately. 

Went out for a bike ride today, didn't understand the hint much but saw something out of place. Tftc

Just saw this, will be a great opportunity for us. 

Replaced cache. 

Please note since the flood of Dec 2023 the road is closed to public vehicles. Still open for cyclists and keen walkers about 4km one way. River changed completely after the flood and is a lot more visible, still a very nice spot. To the cache owner maybe bump up the terrain now! 

Under maintenance, probably needs replacing. Be back soon.

Got lucky with finding this quick, also the construction on the building has not interfered with the cache at all. Tftc 

Took a bit of searching, logs helped a lot. Pretty sure the staff knew what we were doing but we didn't need to ask for a hint. Tftc
