I send you a few pictures of the Höga Kusten (High Coast) in Sweden.
This region is rising up from the sea, recovering from the weigth of the ice during the Ice Age.

In 1915 this dam has been build in the Lule älv at Porjus just above the polarcircle in Sweden, to supply electricity to the railroads, carrying the oar from the mines in northern Lapland. In 1975 a new power station was build next to the same dam. We recommend a visit to the museum, build in the old power station!
