Butterflies at Whale Bay reserve (Waikato)

No whales here...or butterflies...but maybe the wrong season for both.
Great beach, plenty of surfers. Fun times!

a very wet cache, with no pen/pencil and not much room left to write on paper. may need a refresh.
saw the river cruise and ducks go by though!

Surf's up.
Compass led us astray, but eventually got there!
Off to whale bay now!

Getting better at this! Beautiful spot and well needed toilet stop.

Wife and I found our first geocache here. A tad inexperienced we must admit so an easy geocache took longer than expected. Fun times in Rags!
