Logs for cold1 

After seeing all the snow at the summit we thought for sure we weren't going to be able to make it up here. Millers flat road was dry and dusty the entire way. What a gorgeous area! This is the first time for me being up here. Definitely coming back. The stream is way high. We found a place for all of us to cross and hiked up the hill. Windy and no bugs at the bottom. By the time we made it up to the cache there was no wind and millions of mosquito's. We looked like we were all high or from an insane asylum walking around waving our arms around and around trying to keep those things off us. Stamped the log and then tried to walk quickly to a non mosquito area. There were deer everywhere up here. I never get tired of seeing those things. Our next plan was to find the caches up on skyline and then drop over to the other side to go home. These were all new roads today so I wanted to see as much as possible. The road up to skyline was not passable still. The run off has created a swamp of a road. And there were a few drifts across the road higher up. We drove up around four miles and then the road just became too much of a mess so we turned around. We were quite happy to get the old one at least. The family wants to come up fishing next weekend. Thanks for keeping this one alive.
