Logs for exo karpos

24-Jul-11
The Trig was where the current tower is, look in the hints section where i have listed its resting place. The 'found' date above is for finding its remains, i've been up & around Flinders many times.

26-Apr-11
Looked for this one once before but only found JB cans and rubbish left behind by work for the dole people.

Pleased to find it today but Surprised to find the condition of the container and being a rainy day today the paper inside was damp and fragile, finders logs & ink fading.

didnt log my visit, didnt leave or take anything.

there was a large Bull inside the Paddock & lockup time, B wanted to lock the gates.

13-Oct-10
same searched both sides of road, only found litter, some baits ? on the ground, and tripods supporting trays . . .

charcoal, fallen trees and fresh green stuff didnt score the cache......another time, had to return to work

09-Oct-10
found it yesterday, it looks so snug where it is and view it from below is correct, strange i have a feeling i have walked past this cache some time back on one of my many visits before i knew about geocaching and decided at the time it must of been some scientific instrument.......

04-Oct-10
This is my 4th visit here and on past hikes had assumed the cache location was nothing out of the ordinary you would expect on a similar site but on this visit the cache plainly in view, on leaving put it back where it should be and added a rushed note as late in the day already after 1700 and wanted exit the eastern way (trackless lantana/jungle warfare/major scree) back . . . to be another one-up with one of the locals.
a fit person from carpark to cache newbie 2 hrs tops, 1 hour been-there b4's.
a small snak at the cache site goes well to keep yr energy up, water winter 1ltr-summer 2ltr.
as other seekers have said decent clothing on this one is a good idea, good nobbly flexible hiking shoes, thick socks, long pants loose fitting, long sleeve shirt, this is a TICK area and you might consider a preventive cream or spray if these bloodsuckers pertub during tick activity (august-april).
PS-was only going on a walk on this one,i only fell over it . . . but have GPS and track is logged.
