Our journey through NZ is coming to an end. Tomorrow we are going back to Erlangen, Germany.

The idea was to make a walk across the beach to Sandy Hill, but unfortunately the track is closed due to storm damages.

On our way to Queenstown we stopped in Kingston and visited the lake. It was definitely to cold for my feet or even more.
Tomorrow we will fly back to Auckland and then to Frankfurt.

Today we had a wonderdul day on the Queen Charlotte Trail. Some caches were hidden on our way.
This one was found rather quickly.
We had our picnic on an earlier occassion which we found more attractive - but that had no cache nearby.

We spent some days on the Northern Island and today we are crossing the Cook Strait - during very calm conditions. It seems unreal that just a few days ago the ferry sercice was closed due to storm.
Tomorrow we will go for a hike on the Queen Charlotte Track.
