This marker is found at the San Ysidro Port of Entry. It is the border crossing that separates Tijuana, Mexico from San Diego, California(US). San Ysidro is the busiest land border crossing in the world with 72 million people crossing each year. It was highlighted in the movie "Traffic" and on the television show "The Shield" (2004).

This light house is the most Southwestern Lighthouse of the United States...well technically most Nortwestern lighthouse of Mexico. It is the lighthouse situated at the Mexico - US border in San Diego, California. Make sure to do the "None More Southwesterly" cache (GCJMVQ) while there. I was there conducting some training of my Narcotic Detector Dog and decided to get the cache while there.
Border Field State park, where the cache is located, was just opened to the public on July 15, 2005. The lighthouse is still a functional lighthouse keeping shipping away from the rocks at the border.
