Visited Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa today while in Dubai. What a view from the tallest building in the world! It was incredibly hot outside in the sun during the day but after staying up in the observation deck for the sunset, it cooled down some and watching the fountain show was quite pleasant (if a bit short, only lasted 3 minutes but was impressive while it lasted). Answers sent, TFTC! 

Have had this one on my radar for awhile, but didn't have a chance until now. Headed out there in the evening, got to the trailhead at 6:00 PM. It was 106 degrees F, but had enough water along for the 1.5 mile walk out into the desert. Cell phone coverage was spotty and came and went at various points along the way. Got to the cache right before sunset and watched the sun set right from the cache location. Hiked back out during the twilight. Was amazed how much the desert comes alive after the sun goes down. Saw lizards, rabbits, snakes (non-poisonous) and insects. It actually started getting noisy with all the insects clicking. Made it back to the road right as it got dark, took about 90 minutes altogether. Dropped off 3 TBs and picked up 2 TBs to move on. Awesome cache and experience! 

Could smell petroleum in the air. Autoconfirmed, TFTC! 

Finally completed the Jasmer! The challenge began for me around last October when I realized I only needed 5 more slots. The only one that required a dedicated trip was August 2000, the rest of them I picked up via side trips. Now the next challenge is to find more Jasmer Challenge caches in other states!
