Logs for lost marbells 

Found it this time! With the help of the clue (made a huge difference - thank you) it was only a matter of concealing our activities from the muggles who were enjoyed the view. Good tree to hide under while checking out the cache. Great spot. 

No luck this time. Without GPS it proved too big an area to search in. We will try again. 

The Dubbo Dudes were with us as we trapsed our way through the scrub to find this one. There were 11 of us altogether! Great thrill for the kids. Oh, OK, and the adults too.
 

This was our first attempt at finding a cache! At first we got WAY off track, diving down into the bush with impossibly vague ideas about where it might be. With no GPS unit (am i allowed to admit that?) we were going off the marker on the map and it turned out to be very approximate. Remembering the clue made us re-think our assumptions - and after that it took no time at all! The scrapes and scratches were all in vain, but we still left feeling chuffed with our success. Och Aye!!
