Anzac weekend walking the Rakiura Great Walk - Yukifu found this one. Fantastic walk with great company and almost no rain,

Great walk with Daywalk et al, fantastic company as always. I particularly enjoyed the abseiling and of course all the amazing facts and history that I felt sure I would remember, although reading through the write up on this geocache I realise that there is so much history related to this area and goodness knows how Daywalk manages to keep it all in her brain. Thanks for the recognition! 

What an amazing place, dont think I would ever have been brave enough to cross here - stepping out across that force of water - the brave and the goldrush. Daywalk and her trusty GPS.

Daywalk and a bunch of others from the tramping club spent a fun night at the hut, collecting Geocaches on the way in and back out the next day. 

Great walk, exposed area, pretty windy. Daywalk and her GPS again. 

Clever, took a while, but so obvious really. Alifant was in town. 

Beware the muggles - Aliphant and me on hands and knees in the middle of the Octagon. 

Found it! My first one. The markers are not as described, rather than crossed sticks on top of the box there is an interesting piece of rotted wood (approx 400mm x 200mm x 200mm) 

Scrambling around in the bushes, giggling like schoolgirls, Aliphant trying to teach me how to Geocache - great fun - thanks.
