Stopped at this one on the way home from a day out with the family. Parked the car at the nearby area, and left the rest of the family in the car while Junior #2 and I went to find the cache.
Given the very public area, it wasn't a surprise when we heard a vehicle approaching. Junior and I hid in the bushes, only to see the car pull up right in front of the sign. Oops! Never mind, I thought, they must be on the hunt too - why else would someone pull up here. Wrong! It was a realestate agent putting signs out for an open inspection. Got a bit of a weird look when I tried to explain why my son and I were hiding in the bushes!

TNLN - not even a log in the book, as we didn't bring a writing implement! Next two maybe.

First find on a morning out with the younglings. All caches we found today were a good introduction for the kids - nice and easy to find, and not too far between caches. Would have been good to walk/hike it, but that wasn't practical with three kids in tow.
We were going to follow the set in order, but got to 4, looked at the path to 5, and realised we should have left the Falcon at home and brought the Prado instead. Never mind. We followed the bottom of both the "5" and the "0", and will return over the next few weeks (hopefully) for the rest.

Was on a walk with the family and on a whim checked if there were any caches nearby. Lo and behold, this was less than 200m away. Easy find, but in need of some maintenance - water damaged log book only (in zip-lock bag), no pencil or swaps as in description.

First one for the day with the family. Thought it would be a good place to start, being less than 1km from home. Nice easy find. As a local, I can say there are definitely ways to get this one without a 4wd. In fact, you could park at the edge of the bitumen and walk it if you wanted.
Had a crack, but as our last one for the day, our enthusiasm was a bit low by this point. Our coordinates pointed us toward a tree on the side of the road, surrounded by fairly prickly ground cover. Decided not to investigate too much further.
Was very obvious when we hit the right coordinates. Again, wife and baby in the car, while the 4 year old and I went hunting.
Just a quick stop here. 4 year old and I found it while bubs and wife stayed in the vehicle.
Beautiful little area. After growing up in the area, I had no idea it was here. Not too hard to find the cache, but it was the 4 year old who got it in the end.
Had a good look around, but didn't end up laying our hands on it. Nice location though.
