Description
What's for Lunch? - Locationless Geocaching @ Home
Locationless Geocaching @ Home Due to the recent COVID-19 Pandemic and the advice that restricting your movements outside your home to only essential activities, Geocaching Australia will be listing 3 special locationless geocaches to find from the confines of your home this month. The usual rules of locationless geocaches apply in that you must be at the location when your photograph is taken and that you should include co-ordinates of the location where the photograph was taken, however to protect your privacy you may list the co-ordinates in your closest park, shopping centre, the corner of your street or other close location that maintains your privacy. These special geocaches may only be logged once each and at the end of the month they will be archived as they are only intended to be used for the 2020 Game of Games. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of the requirements that the locationless geocaches be found within the confines of your property and we encourage you to think laterally in the event that a challenge may not be normally achievable. Part of this challenge is to think how creative you can be in capturing the essence of the locationless geocaches while remaining at your home location. Geocaching Australia encourages you to be inventive and creative with your photography. Think outside the box when it comes to your photograph. As long as the photo is taken on your own property and meets the challenge criteria the requirements of this geocache have been met. Logs that have photographic evidence that they were not taken at your home location will not be eligible for this months reward. Challenge Take a photo of what you have prepared at home for lunch and attach the photograph to your log. |

Decided to experiment with a new dish for lunch and tried out a garlic bread steak sandwich.
Tasted quite nice, but I reckon I cooked it a bit too much on one side.
Thanks to Geocaching Australia for this locationless.

Today was my last chance an while I enjoyed marinated roast beef with chutney, tomato, mushroom and cheese I again failed.
Sob, sob, sob.
TFTC !!
Thanks for this challenge GA.
Thanks Geocaching Australia for the challenge
we have been meaning to complete this one for sometime now but we keep forgetting to snap lunch, so today while at work Mr DEZ055 snapped a photo of his ham and Pickles sandwich he was having to qualify for this cache.

Last year Woolies were giving away seeds and seed raising kits. We got a couple and I decided to see if they would grow. Max and I carefully put them in the seed raising mix and watered them when it got dry. Soon they had grown so much we needed to put them into bigger pots and give them lots of water and fertiliser. It was exciting to watch them get bigger and see the first tomato flowers bloom. It wasn't long before we had little green globes all over the tomato bush.
One day about 10 days ago of the green ones fell off, so Suzy brought it inside and sat it by the window near the sink. We've been watching it get redder and redder and today it was ready to eat, so I thought I would have it for lunch.
I could have had ham and tomato sandwiches, or cheese and tomato toasties but I wanted to keep it simple so I put the sliced tomato on buttered Saos with a little bit of salt and pepper.
You know what.... that tomato was delicious! I can't wait for the rest to ripen. It was a very good lunch.
Thank you for the locationless - the coordinates are for my local Woolies where we got the seeds.
Thanks.
Murder gets a slice of toast to keep him happy while I get something.
TFTC!

We made pizza last night (see SambooBears log on GA14549 for details https://geocaching.com.au/log/21704308 It was a delicious pizza and there is no leftover pizza this morning, but there is two slices of prosciutto and 6 or 7 cherry bocconcini balls, so I decided to make scrambled eggs with prosciutto and mozzarella. Scrambled eggs are such a good way to turn leftover ingredients from pizza nights (although I haven't gone as far as putting in pineapple). The end result of today's effort was certainly tasty especially with the added rocket leaves.
Thanks for the opportunity to share my lunch. Coordinates for where we bought the eggs.
Topped with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar, some ground black pepper and a sprinkle of salt.
The coordinates will actually put you in the food court at Chadstone Shopping Centre, although nearby, we never go there.
Thank you for yet another delicious cache, Geocaching Australia.
Well a little hungry today so I smashed a few of these.
2 turkish rolls
Ingredients included
avocado spread, jarlsberg cheese, sliced perino tomatoes, champagne ham, salt and pepper and red rock deli dip spread.
Can't beat it!!

Thanks and Happy Trails!

After waiting too long for my darling hubby to chop up the pumpkin, I decided two days ago to fix the issue. I chopped a hole in the top, dragged out the seeds, loaded 2-3 heaps dessert spoons of crushed garlic inside and some cracked pepper and put it in the oven to slowly bake. A few hours later I took it out, peeled off the skin, put the flesh into a bowl, added chicken stock and voila ... lunch for today. On first taste test after it was cooked I didn't like it much, I thought it had an earthy skin flavour. But today after time to mellow, I realised it must be the garlic I could taste. Verdict: it was actually quite sweet and yummy. I don't recommend others do what I did and pile in the garlic, we just happen to like a lot of it.
Thanks for this cache Geocaching Australia. It is really good that Geocaching Australia is very flexible so that members have been able to provide a range of innovative locationless caches. These have helped many of us fill in time while confined to our homes.
Cooked perfection and very enjoyable. Thanks for the locationless and keeping the 2020 Game of Games ticking along...
The next door neighbour helped enjoy the first meal cooked on the Webber
