A nice lunch time walk to nail another cache close by. Cold and windy but the dog enjoyed himself....the 30-40 roos camped on the cache out of the wind weren't very impressed though.TFTC.
Left keyring and took game/puzzle.

A large flat white, sausage roll and a cache to go. Thanks

[Woo Hoo FTF.]
[Great little cache, very cleverly hidden. I must have walked past 20 times muttering "it has got to be here somewhere........." I am glad it wasnt camoflagued as a beer bottle or MacDonalds cup, so many to choose from. TFTC.]
Its under a casurina tree - have a sticky beak.

Didnt set out to do this cache, but on the walk up we met secret squirrel who was heading up to do some maintenance on the cache. My daughter "Snow Princess" first cache, She took the owl, but had nothing to leave, so we will be back.

Great spot - one of my favourite drives as well.
Arrived at the summit just in time for a storm, lightning and hail.
TNLN.

[Spent my lunch hour searching for this cache with no success Sad. GPS indicated 6m accuracy which put me right in the middle of the carpark. I see other people have the same error. Wonder if there was a datum problem with the original coordinates?]
Can someone who has found this cache confirm it was in one of the popular trees next to the road/driveway? I search them thoroughly.
[Otherwise it looks like this cache has grown legs and wandered off.]

After much searching (30 mins) we finally found this cache. Must have walked over it half a dozen times. Actually found the pencil from the cache lying on the ground which led to the discovery of the cache.
Also had to resort to the compass bearing as the batteries died in the e-Trex. Boy do they suck the juice!
Left a pair of nail clippers and a new pen (old one buggered) and took nothing.
A fairly challenging cache for our first one. On the the next.
