Probed a few likely spots . Thought about returning to the car for a glove ( not so keen on spiders!) but having time restraints the driver was likely to suggest a return visit. Decided that was the better option. We will return. Loved the sheep nearby .

Posted find before completing the text ( so out of touch with geocaching procedures after a long break from this great activity mostly due to health issues.) Collected this soldier and took him to dinner with us - so appropriate on Anzac Day! Left info on tinnitus and a long neglected trackable. TFTC

First geocache for quite a while. Tried hard including some gymnastics so now have a bruise to show for my enthusiasm. Spent some time cogitating why we do geocaching . Decided that beyond the challenge the main reason is the remarkable places we find - even if we dont find the cache!

Ex - residents of Mildura back in town! Good to see sunshine! Good cache container. Left a small pencil and a sharpener. Thanks for the cache Bradshaw Clan.

Nice wander through the coastal vegetation To find this cache! Hint was helpful. Left an object that fitted with the ball theme and a sandy tennis ball that I found on the beach just before heading to this location. TCTC!
Two TBs come to visit.
Two TBs come to visit.
A clever cache. Found after a bit of searching. TFTC! Two TBs came for a visit.

Good clue but abundance of tree hollows! Will try again soon. Perhaps not in summer. TFTC _ thanks for the challenge!
Out and about today now that the air movement is back to a breeze - unlike the stronger winds yesterday. Found the minty treasure after a bit of a search. A well- meaning walker queried if I was OK when she saw me at ground level holding onto a post. Good chance to explain geocaching to a muggle! We returned, once upright, to our unit at Island Breeze Resort.
PS brought two TBs for a visit - no room to stay. TFTC.

Love the way geocaching brings you to locations you might not otherwise see! A nice boardwalk and bird-hide to visit. A bonus chance to do push up exercises after finding the cache! Left a dog who won’t trouble any birds in the area. TFTC.

Thanks for bringing us to this location! Geocache in good shape just slightly damp. Took the TB to continue its journey, also T stamp ( useful as our surname is Thomas). Left pretty pink jewelry for young cacher. Logged. Trackable visit too. TFTC.
Despite some unhappy experiences with these farm machinery caches I decided to give this a go. Luckily it wasn’t too difficult! TFTC Betty. ( my Mum’s name) Two trackables came visiting too.
First geocache visit for two years - thanks Covid! Will reactivate a long stored trackable when I remember how to do it!
Found it on the second attempt this week. Some raindrops and fine vegetation have hooked onto my jacket for our trip as we leave town after a most enjoyable time. TFTC

A quick find on Election Day ( more fun than standing in line but guess that will be the next activity for the day!) Tftc - always good to find a cache with room for some items for geokids . Left a couple of characters.
25-Mar-22
Found a crumpled log on the ground , not likely to fit in a bison. Search some more and found an appropriate item of nature with an empty drilled hole at the top. Decided this must be the cache and commenced to create a temporary waterproof log sheet. Spotted a bison on the ground soon after . It had a very soggy log roll inside. Managed to jam my temporary log option inside the bison and return it to a suitable location. Tftc.

Found today - First of September 2021, first geocache this year, first geocache since we moved from Mildura to postcode 3197!, first walk on this side of the Patterson River. All good reasons to celebrate finding this cache! ( entry on logsheet may be out of order, grabbed the first blank spot in windy conditions.)TB visit ( awakened from a long sleep). TFTC

Revisited this local geocache on our short exercise walk in this time of Coronavirus social distancing. Cache in place but did not check log sheet. Will log trackable as visiting. Sad times.

A pleasure to provide water for fellow traveller hembee after catching up at the Valentines Day Geocaching event here in Mildura. Today was my first chance to get back to try again for this cache. An easy find this time ( not hints from hembee, more a rethink about the description.) I was nearly stymied again by a malfunctioning pen but managed to sign the log eventually. Tftc Bradshaw Clan - thanks for bringing people to this interesting location in Mildura.

We were pleased to share the company of fellow geocachers at this event. Great stories of interesting geocaches, teaching experiences and a new floral art business venture coupled with yummy cakes and the delight of young geokids having fun. Thanks for organising this lovely St Valentines Day event ww2_nut!

We would love to attend! One enthusiastic geocacher and one tolerant spouse who has been known to add his help to the search on occasions.

Dropped off a container of a familiar shape but quite a bit smaller and a strange character to amuse young ones. Do like caches that provide some room for surprises.
Oops - forgot to log this one so now I have missed the special souvenir for caches found on 02-02-2020 ( a reversible date!) Well it is still 02/02 in USA. Like the previous finder, I think I have found a cache in this location previously - archived and now re-established?? TFTC
Might need to stroll down and look for this one again soon when my brain recovers from the recent heat! Thanks for the challenge.

Another interesting location to visit on our regular trips between Mildura and Melbourne. Gave the logbook a plastic raincoat and added an item that someone might find useful while in this area. Note: micro cache size perhaps misleading. Tftc
12-Oct-19
A return trip with Bookwormkitty after realising that CO had replaced the cache since our previously unsuccessful visit. A clever hide. Tftc.
24-Sep-19
A quick find after two days camping at the camping ground - on our own in school holidays - amazing! Tftc.
11-Sep-19
Really love it when I check for geocaches after we establish camp with our caravan and discover there’s one within walking distance! Easy find in a well-maintained area. Gps slightly out but a very helpful hint was useful. 11 Sept in Australia so sparing a thought for all those affected by the terrible twin towers event. Tftc Panda_Purple

Wasn’t sure if Catholic Church now Anglican or cache located at previous site of Catholic Church. In any case, following the iPhone gps arrow took us to GZ and lovely church as a bonus. Quick find. Tftc GLISS! ( We must say the drive from Cowra via Darby Falls and Reid’s Flat to Bigga is very scenic and manageable with a 18ft caravan ( in good weather as some unmade sections beyond Reid’s Flat) More people should visit this town and perhaps stay at the Rec ground ( 3 nights free.)
Easy find as recent winds had blown away camouflage. Restored cache to likely hiding spot and reorganised some disguise( until the next windy time probably) Tftc GLISS!
A short walk from our delightful campsite on a sunny. A quick find . What could be better? Thanks for the cache GLISS!
18-Aug-19
Nice visit area including the small dam. Phone gps had a merry dance so eventually we ran out of time. We will try again - perhaps with Garmin!
16-Aug-19
Good opportunity to view the snow remaining on nearby hills after recent heavy falls. Easy find but needed to hold tight to the log sheet in the wind! Tftc
Pays to be a tracker! Found after a bit of a hunt ( after the iPhone gps settled down) Thanks for the challenge Sukukifreak.1 A favourite from us .
24-Jun-19
Found it after a bit of searching. Retrieval proved very difficult as cache container was wedged in its location. Tried with various pieces of equipment available in our caravanning rig with eventual success thanks to our camping mate. Added a pencil, some trinkets and tinnitus info. Added a modification to make future retrieval a little easier but it does mean some additional disguise is needed. Tftc monkeydork
23-Jun-19
An easy find on our walk. Actually found by our camping mate and ex-geocacher ( female member of the Dempster team). Perhaps a revived interest in geocaching now with the benefit of mobile phone apps. Tftc.
08-May-19
Easy enough find with the hint. Wheelchair access?- Think anyone geocaching in a wheelchair would need an assistant to find this one. Tftc.
23-Apr-19
A quick find in an interesting area. Loved the old railway station and the functioning restrooms. Tftc.
20-Apr-19
A quick find on our Easter travels. Disappointed to discover there was no trackable in residence. ( a late log?) TFTC
