Two not founds, so went to look ourselves. Nope, nothing there. Even the rock was back over the hole, so not sure what's happened.

Make no mistake, we found the cache.
Make no mistake, we lived across the road for 2 years and spent many hours in this park. Of course, that's before we knew Geocaching existed!
Make no mistake, took the dodo-daughter to find the cache (again!)
Make no mistake, dodo-dad is a hack at geocaching!

Our last find for the day, although The Pharaohs seemed to be doing all the finding while we just seemed to tag along.
All-in-all a fun day though.
All-in-all a fun day though.
Teamed up with The Pharaohs today, thankfully "Cleopatra" was on the ball and while the rest of us ran around like chooks with their heads cut off, she searched methodically and made the find.
A bit of rain dampened the ground but not our spirits today.

This was a relatively easy find. While I played around with my mobile phone / GPSr to see if it actually worked, Pharaoh-dad's REAL GPSr took him to the spot.

Sat down for an afternoon coffee with The Pharaohs in Maling Road before heading off to find this cache.

MUGGLES MUGGLES everywhere!
My daughter and I did the old "whistle and look nonchalant" while we returned the cache to its hide.
A pretty hot day down in old Cowes.

Not too many birds here today, I think the lack of water may have something to do with that. In fact, there were far more flies than birds!
Anyway, found without too much trouble.

Interesting bit of history on the Peninsula. Watched a yacht race from the lookout, took some nice photos.

A nice stroll along the sand dunes on our Summer holiday. Unfortunately the weather was crazy, hot one minute and pouring with rain the next - literally! We had found the basic clearing where it was and had begun searching when it began to pour with rain! Ten minutes later (or less) when we had found it, the rain had stopped and the sun had come out! ON the way back to the car it started pouring again! A nice, easy cache one of the few that Dad has found !

This was an interesting cache and the graves were well chosen - all of them were pretty unusual. When you said a large white monument we didn't think you meant THAT large! Quite a few muggles, but we managed not to be seen *shifty eyes*

Dropped in here on the way home after visiting Don't Box Me In.
No problems with reception for us, the GPSr was spot-on. An interesting bit of bushland that used to have a house on it until it was removed to improve the area.
Poor old Topsy and Rover...
Cache was partially visible, so we covered it over again.

Found this one in the afternoon with 3 kids in tow. They enjoyed the playground after finding their treasure!
Thanks REDP.

"Hey there's Knox City!" called out the 4 year-old as we approached GZ.
Good one to search for as it was in a limited area.
Thanks nmo.

In only our third day of Geocaching, we found this one without too much trouble, after having a lot of trouble with other caches the previous couple of days. Got my brother and his kids to help us out, we liked the clue too.
Co-ordinates were spot-on too.

We followed the GPS and your co-ordinates and if we hadn't spotted the object our GPS would have led us into the middle of Canterbury rd! Dad counted the number of E's but left out lots luckily he had his daughter to count it for him ^^! The second location was pretty funny but we think it is for doing U turns to get out. Couldn't they have put just one no standing sign though? ANyway, we looked around on the wrong side of the road for a while before we realised, and just as Dad was about to give up I spotted a sliver of plastic. As I took it out and got down I had to sit on it - The same muggle that had come past twice already was coming past again.

Our first ever find! Nice path along here, and the find whetted our appetite for more Geocaching.
Bought a Bluetooth GPS unit to use with my mobile phone, and needed to put it to good use!
Thanks Astro69 for the cache.
