We too went the crazy way to find that it was not that hard to get to at all! TFTC! Dropped koala TB that wants to get to hard to reach places (3+ terrain).

Nice walk when you go along the beach, and loop back along the mangawhai cliffs walk (built 2008). TFTC! 

Managed to write on the newer paper, although sort of dry it is pretty friable! Other bits of paper are nearly unrecognisable now unfortunately. Good cache site, thanks.

Sneaky! I picked it up, still looking when S spotted it! 

Didn't find it first time without clues or gps, but got it this time after reading it properly! TFTC 

Couldn't find this one either after a bit of a search! 

We were able to have a pretty thorough look today, but couldn't find it unfortunately. It was about 2hrs after low tide. 

Seems you can't access the site at the moment due to roadworks, oh well! It sounds interesting!

Fun little hunt round! TFTC Picket up elephant/dropped the japanese coin! 

Found it second time round, easily this time! Didn't look properly last time obviously! Left the elephant found elsewhere in Napier as not going anywhere else for a while. TFTC  

Great place, TFTC! Got spotted hunting by someone from the winery coming out of a back door - presume they knew what I was upto! 

Great walk, got bit muddy finding the cache! TFTC!  

After presuming I knew where I was heading, the coordinates/gps then took me right to the place! Nice location. Left TB / Picked up TB. 

Not sure how I couldn't find it! Quite a lot of runners around so felt a bit silly on my little island on my own. Might have another look soon! 

Nice spot! Fun scramble. Needs some attention: the log is a bit soggy and not really writeable onable - needs to be rescued and dried out I think before its lost forever! Turned the plastic bag inside out but not sure it'll help much. 

Nice easy find! Though had to hang around for a while waiting for 2 jogger muggles to move on from having a rest. Think I looked quite suspicious probably! Picked up coin. TFTC

Need to go back and try harder! Was a bit short of time to get round the circuit! Lovely area though.

Went up on our bikes, phew! This was our first cache ever, took ages to find it, then realised we'd been stopping a fellow geocacher from putting it back as we were hanging around where it needed to go back! Hi to that guy! TTFC

Thought this was going to be easy, but no luck! Will think about it and prob visit again! 

Lovely place. Felt a bit worried of passers by walking around in the trees, so took a while to find! TFTC
