Hopefully we'll be able to check on this cache after Easter. Till then, we'll temporarily disable the cache.
would be nice if some one checked to see if it is still there i reached even climed with no luck
Whilst we didn't have to worry about muggles as they place was really quiet (even on a Saturday!), we had no luck. We tried a couple of likely spots in case the coords were wrong, but after a frustrating 20 or so minutes, we gave it up. Burt96 was with us and he never lets us down, so we reckon it has definitely been muggled.
It was not my day here today. When I arrived there was a bus at GZ. Oh well, I'll go and get
some lunch. Got back after lunch - bus gone - BBQ area filled by an Indian extended family, must have been more than 30 of them!
Maybe another day.
Thanks, Robmc.

Was with D Altmann. GPS driving us crazy but we at last found the place where it was. Unfortunately there was a big party in the vicinity and we didn't want to gatecrash. Thanks anyways.
It was dark and unable to spot under torch light. Please check as It sounds a simple one from the logs?
This was our first attempt at geocaching...we were using the GPS in our vehicle...we ended up behind
Parker Ave...will need to get GPS that is more accurate.

This is my first find and as I live in Strathalbyn was a good way to start "geocaching". It was reasonably easy to find and was quite a buzz to find. As I am new to this I left nothing but allso took nothing.
matthew found this one after we watched the 'duck race'. had to be sneaky due to muggles!! T-badge L-marble & dice.
A lot of renevations going on with the building of the swimming pool, but managed to do this without being sprung. This cache needs a new log book.
[|)] Our second and final for the night.
Didnt have this one on the GPS but thought we'd have a go at it anyways.
Lucky find TFTC!

Muggled out today. Cold and wet and thought I'd be ok, but a bus load of muggle pensioners was having a freezing picnic lunch.
found this one with DJAJ and the boys found this one a challenge...just read the gps! they had fun! I adjudicated.
DJAJ found with T and S after having a nice lunch on the banks of the river.

Hoping Your Caching is Good Caching and Happy Spring,
Quite by accident we parked right next to the cache to have our lunch. Not too many muggles about today due to the cold & wet weather. I'm betting it would be hard work on a sunny Sunday arvo though.

We visited this location a *long* time ago but were muggled out.
Today we had the log signed and ready for replacement when a van turned up. Luckily the were all occupied while I stealthily replaced the cache.
Cheers.

2nd visit to GZ, last time muggles were sitting in their car right at the spot. Today a busload of senior muggles was fairly close but we placed the geomobile strategically.
Easy find, was uncovered. Hid a bit better on return.
In company of Princess Consuela. Took GC

Walked almost half way before we realised you could drive there. So dear M suggests HE go back and drive the car around, while I walk the rest! I am the one with the strange diseases of the 5 year olds - not him! Humph. Anyway, found and then threw in through the car window. Too cold to stand around outside and sign things. Ta for the cache.
Since we were in town for footy, we thought we would make the most of the time between the final siren and dinner and grab a cache or 2.
We got to within 190m of GZ before realising that we could have driven the whole way and not even left the car to get the cache! So me being nice, offered to walk all the way back to the car, drive it around and pick up A at GZ.
By the time I did all that A had the cache in hand and it was lobbed through the car window into my lap for a nice easy signing.
Grabbed the coin and dropped off a coin.

Found the cache at 1.30pm. Lovely neat park - not many muggles. Left micro geocoin. SL. Thanks Team Jeckyl for organising the cache and hunt.
Had to wait for the Goverment plated car to leave after a long lunch in the shade. An easy find and then on to lunch with the dogs at the Victoria Hotel.

1st find of the day and 1899th total find at 09:15.
It's not often that we get to go caching this far from home, but as we are both very fortunate to have a couple of weeks off - - -. By good planning or design this cache was on our list.
Tried this one yesterday, but there were muggles parked right next to GZ. No problems today though.
Took: Nothing
Left: Nothing (Screwdriver wouldn't fit)
Thanks Team Jeckyl for the cache.

Got to GZ and did not even attempt to look for the cache. Way too many Muggles around. I will be back for this one at a weird hour.

All the nearby muggles were alseep on the grass. So no trouble to retrieve. It was very visible, so I replaced in a safer more hidden spot just above where it was.

There was a swim meet going on at the pool this morning and the area was full of vehicles but not many people so the cache retrieval was fairly straightforward. The cache seemed almost too exposed so the owner may want to check and see if it is still in its original hiding spot. Interesting part of the town, thank you for showing it to us.
Found quickly on Australia Day on a round trip from Northern Adelaide to Goolwa and back. Beautiful day and lots of great things seen. TFTC.
A beautiful spot just on sunset. We parked the car in the main street and went for a lovely walk. This area is extremely well kept and very pleasant. Thanks for bringing us here. TNLN, TFTC
Just missed O'Cholio team. We were there at about 4pm. We might have been seen by an old bowler at the club behind us. When we turned around he was standing on the verandah looking at us.
A short break between muggle visits, and the cache was easily found and retrieved before having a quick snack and departing. TFTC.
A nice easy find while in town for lunch today ..The funny little bugs covered the tree but luckily not the cache TNLNSL Ta !

Parked on the wrong side of the river, but found an easy way across, and it get the dog a chance to sniff around some more.
Nobody there to worry about, and an easy find.

We drove right down to the area with the GPS telling us only 3 meters away while we sat in the car watching all the elderly muggles out picnicking. I jumped out of the car to stretch my legs. Retrieved the cache and then deftly passed it onto one of our clan to log.
It is only now reading Tankengine's log that I might have missed a golden opportunity to add a new pathtag to my collection If only I had checked the cache. *sigh*
Thanks for bringing me back to this area from my childhood.

A quick find with no muggles too close and only so many spots. A really lovely park this one, well tended. Thanks again Team Jeckyl.
This was to be our last cache for the day in what looked like an easy location... until we found the car park and interrupted a Teen-Muggle Street Party in full swing!!!
Decided it was too risky and headed home.
We will be back though!

We've come up to Strath today for a huge bonfire at Mrs Barra's brothers place opposite the Race course, wow what a fire it was. They also own the Bowerbird antique shop in town, so say Hi from us. I was MC at their Wedding reception here too.

We could SEE where the cache would be. Problem was a bloke parked in his car looking right at it. We tried to wait him out. No good. Went to our favourite bakery for a coffee and cake and a thorough read of the Saturday paper. Returned. Bloke was still there. Tried to wait him out again. No go. So close....
You needed to be a senior at Angus Jnr. Gee the grass was green. No probs and clear skies to Team Jeckyl from TeamAstro.
7pm and its a frosty ol'night. Muggle in car very near GZ moved off when I arrived luckily. TFTH.

Not a soul around at 9:30 this morning. Noticed it has been exactly one month since last found. Decided to retrieve TB even though I didn't have a swap - it had been languishing here long enough, tranqil a setting as it is. Thanks Team Jeckyl.
Picnic to the left. Picnic to the right. Nothing at GZ. A quick stretch and the cache was mine.
I enjoyed this spot, I used to play here when I was little. It is very close to where my late Nana lived.

An easy find in a nice little park on the way down south.
Had just arrived at the GZ when we were approached by froghoppin who had been watching, with some amusement, these two people wandering around with a piece of paper and yellow gadget in hand!
Great to meet up with Wayne, Alison and Shaun and to compare notes.
