Did not find. Looks like the area has recently been cleared, so may no longer be there. Enjoyed the walk and looking around the cemetery.
We visited this area today, and gathered the clues in between intermittent showers. We took a look at the track down to the creek, but as it was very wet, muddy and slippery, we decided to leave a visit to the waterfall for another day. The pistol club was in full swing today, interrupting what would have been a nice quiet stroll around the cemetery.
After gathering all the information, we set off to find the cache, but came up with nothing. It's not the first time a Lilysu&Boxer cache under a bush has thwarted us though. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LUID=e6841b88-e6ca-4cbf-86d6-f85ab9e007f3
We were lucky enough to see a possum clambering about in the tree, so that made the visit worthwhile. We'll search again on our next visit through here.

Caching with earthlight and The X-Trailers today and after just finishing a great walk/ride along the Nurragi Trail we decided to get a few of the other caches in this are of the list so we are of to Hindmarsh Island and grab the caches along the way, weather was perfect today, not to hot, not to cold, just perfect to cache : ) after we worked out where GZ should be we failed to find anything, rang a previous finder who told us where to look but we failed to find anything, was it right under our noses ? either way it was a beautiful place to visit but be careful putting your hand down on rose stems on the ground, they hurt.
Out with CPWanderer & Aussie M&M aiming to complete enough caches for CP's big 9000.
Was impressed with the work completed by the Lions including the pond, vegetation and toilet block.
I would have liked to have completed the nearby caches, but the driver making a short stop for us wanted to press on. Thanks for the multi Lilysu&Boxer

Wow, a Lilysu&Boxer cache down this way. How cool, was playing with your pathtags the other day as I rearrange my collection. Interesting country cemetery. Well kept and nice pond. There is a bush that is hiding the cache really well. We were definitely aware that we could have met up with slivery creatures here. TFTC and the cemetery cache especially.
We had hoped to do this cache in connection with the other 2 in the area, but there was a big sign advising that the path (to the cemetery) is currently closed.
Will attempt it from the regular way at a later date.

Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia.
With being so chilly overnight we had a fairly late start to the morning but soon decided we should head for Goolwa regardless.
A truly wonderful winters day exploring the area using Geocaches as our guide. Mr Felix walked to this one from the waterfall cache nearby whilst Mrs Felix went back to collect the car and meet him at GZ. Info obtained all whilst keeping an eye on some nearby muggles who were enjoying the history here too.
Cache located once at the final coords.

After walking up the creek from 'Bridging Currency,' this was a nice little diversion up the bank as we headed toward 'Waterfall of Wonder' .
Just so happened to enter the cemetery next to the initial waypoint , so it was quickly off to WP2 after gathering the information. More quick info was found at a relative's home (where we waited for a council worker to check the amenities), then it was off to GZ .

An interesting walk around this popular resting place . Thanks Lilysu&Boxer.

On an afternoon drive with my bestie and he pulled in here as he knows I love a good cemetery cache Although with a previous finder I did this multi from start to finish in the pouring rain too! I just loved all the history of your family Susan - thank you for sharing SL Mark and I enjoyed the Armed Forces section and I even found the memorial plaque of an Army Postie - made my day! Thanks from PG
Got a bit lost in the paddock on the last one, but after checking our numbers again we found the right spot. TFTC
Spent the day out caching with Firesafe heading south, some interesting grave from along time ago
Spent the day out caching with honeysucker heading south. Made 46 finds, 2 DNF's and placed 4 caches for the day.

Some great history in this old cemetery. Found on the way to the waterfall for the Trip-Tze 500th find.
As per usual, the final coords had us somewhere out in the field near the railway line so 'cachemeister' Terry persevered and we realised it was "1-" not "L-" and had the cache in hand soon after.
Thanks for bringing us here Lilysu&Boxer.

Quickly located near a very convenient spot!!! Thanks Lilysu&boxer for the hide!!
Fantastic little close together multi. Had a great time and found the cache at the end. TFTC
Lovely old cemetery and took 2 attempts to get this one. First time a funeral was about to begin and the GZ was very close by so we came back and found it 2 days later. THFTC
Found by Mary & David at 0855. You know of Mary's passion for cemeteries, so this was an interesting stop. We wondered if George and James have any connection to your families? Such strong old names, too. Our thanks to Lilysu&Boxer.
We quite enjoy a quiet stroll around a cemetry, so couldn't resist this one on the way back from the 'falls'.

Very good multi - for once we got all the numbers right the first time around. Very interesting history indeed. Met a couple who were checking out the nearby ex-copper mine.

19/01/2012 16;00 On holiday in Encounter Bay from Melbourne. Out on a drive with Eagle Eye to get his 'L' plate driving hours up. I decided to do this simple Multi in an old cemetery on a hot day. As expected it wasn't too hard to get about the place and I had GZ fairly quickly. A nice sized cache well camo-ed to suit the hiding spot. TFTC Lilysu&Boxer TNLN SL
Enjoyed the walk around this interesting cemetary collecting the clues. A short search and the cache was in hand. Thanks Lilysu&Boxer
Walked to the cemetery from the Lions park, taking in another cache along the way. Collected the clues and found the cache in good condition.
Walking around the cemetery reminded me of the story about the German guy who walked through a cemetery in his local village to work each day. On one occasion he was returning from work late at night and heard Beethoven's 5th symphony being played backwards. He was non-plussed until he realised Beethoven was buried in the cemetery....and he was decomposing
I took a TB and signed log. TFTC Lilysu&Boxer.

My GPSr has roads going everywhere near here. None of the roads exist! I expect that eventually the greater Goolway-Victor conurbanation will reclaim the countryside.
Our second find ever, once we realize how a multi step cache works it was great fun.
thanks.
thanks.
Well we tried but due to Muggles and the fact we are newbies we did not find. It was freezing and you would not believe the number of people in this beautiful cemetary. It was a lovely area. We will be back.
We tried to do this cache a few weeks ago but were completely muggled out which caught us by surprise. When we arrived on that day the grave diggers were just finishing off their job. As we went around collecting information they came over to us and asked us to shut the gate on our way out. Then 3 cars arrived one after the other. Everyone got out and greeted and slowly made their way over to another spot to pay their respects. Only trouble was the spot was not that far from where we wanted to search for gz. Decided to withdraw and return another day.
Today made a quick find. What a great cemetery. Thansk Lilysu&Boxer for taking us to a place we had never been before despite driving past many times.

On my previous visit earlier this year I wasn't sure that I got the numbers right. I came up with the same solution this time around and was coming up empty handed again. A call to a friend convinced me to keep looking, listen to wise friends because I found the cache, a sneaky hide well done. Hopefully cache creep won't spoil your efforts.
Thanks Lilysu&Boxer.

A lovely multi that had us searching a few spots before the finals were plugged in to the unit. Search and search we did and just as we were about to give up, Waldron suffered from quitters luck and found the prize in the first place we looked. How do you miss them this big [?]
A few people streamed into the cemetery to pay their respects. Waldron offered some directions to some other searchers who were interested in the older part of the premises. He gave them instructions like a local. From our state of dress at this stage of the day, they may have though we were the grounds persons..........
Clear skies. Respect.
As Astro said we searched and searched. Tried a few help lines, but got no help there.
Persistence pays off in the end.
As for helping the muggles I was looking like Grounds Keeper Willie out of The Simpsons, so I'm surprised they asked me.

Nice simple multi to show us this very interesting cemetary. I have been meaning to visit this cemetary for years, finally I made it because of caching!. Currency Creek has always fascinated me as there is no actual "township". We met a local historian who is obviously very involved in the cemetary's history. He was happy to give us some facts and figures, 1600 people buried here, many unmarked/unknown plots that they only know about through the birth/deaths and marriages registry.
We did not tell him about the cache, just that we were fascinated with the lovely cemetary (of which he is very proud).
We then headed down to waterfall.

Nice easy find after coming from finding the Waterfall of Wonder cache. Gun club shooting over the fence and sounded very close but wasn't game to have a look. T: TB Green Jeep.
A not so pleasant walk around the cemetery after wandering down to the creek, because the gun club were in full force. Sure, the flags are up telling you not to cross the fence but knowing there wasn't much apart from a dirt slope between us and the bullets meant we proceeded quicker through the stages than we normally would. GZ would have been a pleasant spot on a quieter day too, but while we were signing the log, the "bang bang" was joined by a "whistle, snap, drop" in the tree above us, sounding an awful lot like an errant shell hitting the tree a metre or two above us
So we signed the log quickly and raced back to our car!
When we met up with Mrs Wibble's parents later in the day they informed us that there are several of Mrs Wibble's ancestors in that cemetery, so we'll have to come back for another visit some time (hopefully when the gun club isn't in force!)

I called in today to drop off a pathtag belonging to a Cornish geocacher. He has sent some to me to place in caches in Australia's Little Cornwall. I placed one here because the family you will visit has a Cornish heritage. There was also an attempt at copper mining nearby.
If you take it, please log it on pathtagging.com and add a comment so that the owner will know where you have found it.
