No luck for us today. Pretty sure we found the place where this one should be and scratched around for ages in the bark in case it had just fallen off. Thanks.
Thanks for the cache Lilysu&Boxer, looks like we have both been a long way from home,as we pulled up to GZ may have spotted a lush of another kind, there was an old dear in a Merc that opened the rear of the wagon took out 2 empty bottles of wine put them in the bin and left.Cache is in good condition in correct location.
Thanks guys

Our fist full day in Victor Harbor, BettyBoo3747 and I jumped the Cockle Train to Goolwa, rode around there a bit, had some lunch, then rode back to Victor Harbor. Took us a bit longer than we thought so we didn't get as many caches as we planned. Beautiful weather for a ride.
No lush's here today, just a rock with the supplied information.
It was nice to sit down and cast an eye over the lovely view of the river.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 6646. Awoke to a beautiful almost Spring day so Plan A was ready to be put into place. This entailed a walk from the Caravan Park to the Bike Shop to collect the treadlies, collect a few caches , jump on the Cockle Train to Goolwa, grab some caches, admire the scenery, have lunch, ride back to Victor Harbour with a few more cache finds along the way. A big day and got the bikes back to the shop with 10 minutes to spare.
A nice quick find today after we had read the plaque. I love the history of this area. We quickly found the cache and our names are the first in the new log book. We sat and admired the view and now we must try to find somewhere for lunch, again!
Thanks Lilysu&Boxer

Cache is back in place, good to go. Has been muggled twice. If muggled again cache will be archived, hope this is not necessary. Good luck!
We will be down this way again soon,so will give it one more try. It has been muggled twice in quick succession, so we have given it a spell. will replace soon and try again. Thanks
It would appear that the cache has been muggled again, so we will have to disable it until we get down there again.
A tempory cache has been put in place, until we can get back with a proper replacement.
Checked today and this has indeed disappeared. We will replace as soon as we can.
First for the day and it's always good to start with a find, but not today .
We'd been muggled out here on the previous 2 days, but made sure we were here early this morning . Finally, no-one fishing and we had the place to ourselves.
Looked around and spotted the likely hiding spot, but no cache [xx(].
Looks like another one we'll have to come back to another day .
Thanks Lilysu&Boxer.

We found this cache some time ago , but forgot to log it. Thanks for the cache.
I was lucky enough to get a phone call to see if I wanted to head out for the day with a wonderful group of people to locus cache some smileys.....so what could I say to that offer but YES!! [^]
I picked up Honeysucker who gracefully allowed himself to be a passenger in Harry and deal with my driving and off we went to meet Mogni of the fantastic giggle, Aussie M&M of the kind heart, great hugs and tall stature and Brisal5 of the split pants.
By the time Honeysucker and I left the others to head home, I had 38 smileys and 4 DNFs but the laughter and fun the group shared all day far outweighed those few missed smileys!
Yet again, the males dominated in the rush to the cache but we all enjoyed the spoils!
Many people in Australian history have been denied their rightful respect simply because of their genetic makeup

Mogni was back in town for the weekend so a GOTHS escapade to Victor was Planned. I was lucky enough to score a seat in the Gothmobile with both Aussie M & Ms and mogni. We were soon to be joined by Honeysucker and Locus Cache in Harry.
Mr. M seems to have been invigorated by his quick dip and is finding all the caches now. Thanks Lilysu&Boxer.

A recent trip to Victor alerted us to just how many caches there are down there, so a trip was planned for mogni, brisal5 and the Aussies. It was a magnificent 16hrs of sunshine (until sunset), laughter and adventure and at the end of the day we had around 80 finds, 2 FTFs and a handful of DNFs. For most of the day we had Locus and Honeysucker in tow, who added more fun and laughter to a great day out.
Mr M made an educated guess and made a quick find without the assistance of a GPSr. TFTC Lilysu&Boxer.

Lots of muffles! I may have been sprung. Wasn't until I looked up and boom! Staring from a distance, but looking none the less. I'm so sorry if this is the case because it's a beautiful spot

Finally, one of us has our p's!!! We started off the cold morning at 8:30 to go see the little sisters play netball in Myponga and then to Victor Harbor to watch the little brothers play Hockey. After that, we were off on a caching adventure to Goolwa, which resulted in 12 finds and 4 sore feet (2 each).
We caught this one while taking some happy snaps of playful pelicans nearby It's a lovely spot, TFTC!

Today I had a space in my Caching Calender, so out I went to find a cache.
I was in Goolwa for a quick checkup at medical center. (All good.)
Wanted a quickie before heading to work in Victor. This was perfect. Only trouble - I wanted to sit and contemplate the meaning of life for a while, but alas work beckoned.
A beautiful white heron fished about 10 metres from me.

A quick find in a nice spot. There were a lot of spider webs around in the general area, as well as a spider on the cache... only a small one though Signed log, took nothing, left a "mugglestone" tumble-stone. TFTC

Very windy today. Geokids had trouble keeping the cache contents from blowing away. We were wondering if Mrs lush lived in the old shack across the road which has been there as long as anyone can remember. TFTC.
Had to be careful with this one with lots of eyes around.

Geocaching with Braveheart17 over the past few months in the Fleurieu area. Only just logging them all now, sorry. Love the hides and the adventures, thanks to all for the hunts. Thoroughly enjoyable.
scoped with google earth and did from memory for a quick find. Side trip to Goolwa while staying for the weekend at Middleton. Often passed this spot but first time we have stopped. Took a walk along the short jetty with Izdog to maximise the pit stop. Thanx

Drove out today to Goolwa to take Puppet Professor Forbes to do her Seaside Punch and Judy show at the Wooden boat show.
During performances I went for a walk. Having been to the chart room I then walked over here.
Found and logged amounst all the action happening here today.
Chatted to a lovely couple sitting near GZ.
Then back to help the Professor pack up before driving her back to Adelaide in time for her next performance at the Finge Festival.
A lovely day amoungst all the wooden boats.

We'd done a 4.8 kilometre walk along part of the Heysen Trail, but wasn't much interested in looking for any suburban caches on our visit down this way, however we made an exception for this one. Cache was found in the first place we put our hands, thanks to the neat clue.
My parents once bought a house in Port Pirie from a Mr and Mrs Lush. Im fairly sure it wasn't the same that used to live at this site though.
Thanks Lilysu&Boxer.
