Strange to archive an Earthcache?
I'm happy to adopt it so cachers can still do this one, unless the signboards have been removed?

Finding the answers was the easy part. Climbing the Bluff was a little harder, but finding the photo spot was the hardest. Little Red Riding Hood (aka my GPSr) had me all over the place, however it is Granite island in the background and I am holding LRRH in my left hand. Didn't take Sam(sung) up the Bluff with me so no selfie. Will award a fave as you motivated me to climb, see such wonderful views and get the exercise. TFTC Adrian
Yeah great spot hope the photo is ok got to top and did selfies granite island is def behind us will send answers to questions when I get back to a computer couldn't see how to email them TFTC

Third stop today out and about exploring the area around our accommodation. Unfortunately due to BJ having the softest feet of any dog I have known, we were unable to take the blue metal path to the top but I still enjoyed the view from the carparks. TFTC Adrian Mc - I may not have realised these viewpoints were here otherwise.

[Teal] As we head from town to town as part of our "Purposeful Meander around Oz" the Rats and the Mini Rats found this cache. Dad did most of the hard work here and the detail of our find can be found in the Rats log. Sorry for the duplicate log but it takes nothing away from the find.
Came for a walk with dad, it was a tough walk to the top.
Thanks for showing us this spot on our trip.

Out for a drive with ROMA123 on a very windy cool afternoon stopping off to go for a walk to the top of The Bluff. Parked the car, stopped at the sign to gather the required info, then started our trek to the top, at times just about getting blown away.
We were rewarded with a great 360° view even though the sun was not shining. Took the required photos then went to find the trad nearby before making the descent.
Thanks for this Earthcache Adrian Mc and for bringing us here, it was fun.

If only all earthcaches were this simple. Too many we have tried lately require you to be a geologist!!
Enjoyed our climb to the top of Rosetta Head and got 3 smileys for our effort, the earthcache, the traditional [which we replaced as per CO's request] and the GCA trig.
Thanks.

Granite Island today with BettyBoo3747. We took the horse drawn tram out to the Island and walked the loop walk around the island. Lovely day for it, seas flat as a tack and blue skies.
Been a while since I have been to Victor Harbor and up the Bluff to do Liz and Bruce's cache.
Always a nice spot to come back to, particularly in this lovely weather.
Thanks for your prompt reply to our answers.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 6700. Time to log some of the earth caches that we have found recently, Rob has sent off the answers and we have been given CO permission to log. Logging it whilst sitting on part of this massive granite batholith at Cape Willoughby Lighthouse.
Did this one on our last afternoon at Victor Harbor before catching the ferry to Kangaroo Island for a wonderful week.

After visiting Granite island took a drive up to the bluff to see the view from there. Happened to walk past this cache. Answers to questions have been emailed.
Please see email from Bek-theraccoon with answers to the questions and the photo can be found below on her log. Found with bek-theraccoon, cornflake87 and HSH88
This was the closest cache to my home that I hadn't found.
I didn't have any plans today so I thought I'd cross this off.
The weather was reasonable with high clouds and a mild breeze. Forecast is for very windy tomorrow so seems calm here ATM.
Being a Sunday arvo there were a couple of family group at the top and kids running in all directions.

Beautiful birdseye views and a good heart pumping walk to get there. Earthcaches never disappoint, thanks for this one Adrian Mc., a favourite for us.

Anzac Day dawned overcast and cool - perfect for hiking up a bluff in pursuit of an Earthcache and a Liz and Bruce classic. We climbed the peak clockwise, enjoying the Victor Harbor views, then out to sea, and finally the waves crashing along the jagged shoreline as walkers set off on the Heysen Walk - I must do that some day, it looks fabulous! Of course, as luck would have it, the camera stopped working at the top (too cold?!) so we resorted to dodgy iPhone pictures, with The Marble doing the clicking and me doing the posing. Interesting to read the information on the plaque up there, too. Thanks for the impetus to get up here, and TFTC, Adrian Mc. =^.^=
La Kedi and I were up here this morning and surprisingly found it to be not that cold. Collected the info required and set off up the hill. Managed to get La Kedi's photo but I think I broke her camera. She was very philosophical however as the thing was pretty old so now she's looking forward to a new one. Thanks Adrian Mc

Cold foggy Day but not a person in sight at the top so well worth the short walk. Awesome views despite the weather!
After logging "don't be bluffed", I enjoyed the view from top of the bluff and found the requested information on the way back to the car. Logged with COs permission.
I am hoping brisal5 and Aussie M & M put in our answers.... I have the photo..... Great location
Mogni was back in town for the weekend so a GOTHS escapade to Victor was Planned. I was lucky enough to score a seat in the Gothmobile with both Aussie M & Ms and mogni. We were soon to be joined by Honeysucker and Locus Cache in Harry.
Mr. M, mogni and I made the trek. Had to stop at one of the well placed seats for a nanna nap! Got to the top and Mr. M. camera ran out of battery. Although myGPSr was in low battery the picture wouldn't save. (I later found the micro SD card was loose when I changed the batteries)...DOH. Mogni rescued us so her log will have the photos. Thanks Adrian Mc. I guess the nearby cache is only a 1.5 if you are already here!

A recent trip to Victor alerted us to just how many caches there are down there, so a trip was planned for mogni, brisal5 and the Aussies. It was a magnificent 16hrs of sunshine (until sunset), laughter and adventure and at the end of the day we had around 80 finds, 2 FTFs and a handful of DNFs. For most of the day we had Locus and Honeysucker in tow, who added more fun and laughter to a great day out.
Having just huffed and puffed our way up Saturn... this one made it look quite pedestrian. Mr M, brisal5 and mogni made the long trek up the bluff. Once we got there panic set in as first Mr M's camera came up with 'battery exhausted' and then brisal5s camera decided not to save any images (we found out later that the sim card was not fully inserted). Thankfully mogni came to the rescue. Answers and photo to follow.

Far out....that was a massive climb for this old fart..only one SnappyTomCat made the trek today. Meggs stayed in the carpark as she has a rather bad chest infection and would have coughed up a lung if she had tried.
After finding the required the information, we made the climb. We couldn't have picked a better time as the weather was perfect. We took the required photo and then did the other caches nearby.
Found with Knightyme and others. Steep climb, worth it for the view and the whale watching. Bring a video camera and a tripod, it gets windy.
I picked up chrispy89 at 7am and returned him home at 11.30pm after attending the excitement filled Meet and Greet Wright Here event at Victor Harbor
All up, I managed 16 smileys for the day's locus cache efforts.
Walked up here with a group and gained all the information.
Photo attached and email on it's way too.
Can finally say I have been to the top of The Bluff
Even saw a whale, sort of

Under the permission in the description to be able top post prior to a confirmation email, I post a find.
Well what can i say here except what a walk for someone that is not the fittest, once at the top the views are spectacular, as the others made their way back to the cars we stayed up here watching a couple of whale get closer and closer until they were so close we couldn't see them any more.
TFTC,
Out on a day tour with some of the National Riley Raley people.
Made a bit of a mess with this visit and will have to wait till we get home in Mid September to upload a photo and email answers to CO.
Have loged visit to the traditional cache to show we made it to the top. As mentioned by previous finder of that cache all the logs were wet and they had isolated them into a zip bag. We dried it out a bit more and added a log page till the maintenance person resolves the problem.
Making this entry now to visit the group of trackables undertaking our Outback adventure with us that will take us to the 2 Million cache and beyond.
Disapointed this is a Premium cache as nana nel who is travelling with me can't log the find. What is the value of 2 Premium memberships in the one family.

Was heading up to summit to check out views and grab a nearby cache so thought this one was a natural extension, interesting info, thanks for the cache .
Bogonghazy and I always enjoy including Earthcaches on our caching days, and it was great to be able to add this one to our tallies today. Learnt about Granite Rock, took in some amazing views, and got a walk as well. My thanks to Adrian Mc for highlighting this significant point of interest. Answers emailed.

Found with Team Crackers and Maccamob on a day out in Victor Harbour. We enjoyed the climb to the top and the views, as well as learning something about this place.
After another very enjoyable evening celebrating Semik's birthday at the "gonna soak up the sun event" we again joined forces with maccamob and alansee to head out to Victor Harbour grabbing a few caches whilst taking in the great scenery of the area. This cache wasn't on our list for today but when it popped up and the fact that we all enjoy earth caches we couldn't go passed it. We enjoyed the information on the cache page and also what we learnt at gz while collecting the required information. This really is a remarkable piece of coast line. We headed off to the photo point to complete our mission watching the remote control gliders soaring around the cliffs as we went. By the time we were two thirds of the way there we were all thinking that perhaps we should have left this one for a cooler day but we have to say that the views from the photo point made it all worthwhile
Thanks Adrian Mc for setting this one up and the extremely prompt permission to log.

Found by Mary & David, in company with Team Crackers and Alansee, at 1530. Logging with permission. Quickly gathered the facts and figures we needed then set off up the hillside to the photo point. Puffing like a steam train by the time we got to the top. Our reward was the great view! We'd already completed the "Don't Be Bluffed" cache, on 01Oct02. Watched a coupe of radio-controlled gliders soaring above Petrel Cove on the way back down. One of the highest terrain Earthcaches we've completed. Our thanks to Adrian Mc.
Been here many times. Both pre and post starting caching.
Found the answers and gained some knowledge.
Alas it was nighttime and was unable to get a suitable pic, which shouldnt matter under the current guidelines...

This was our first earth cache! It's fantastic to learn things that you would never have known before
Unfortunately for us, it was quite a windy/drizzley miserable day but that didn't stop our geocaching adventure. We set off after the rain cleared and found 11 treasures, with 2 non-finds. The Heyson Trail was certainly something that we'll never forget, and our feet won't either!
In our granite island picture, you'll see Mr d&mpearce trying to take flight in the strong winds. Luckily, we didn't get a picture of me falling over. Thankfully.
Thanks for the cache & the incredible experience! (+1 favourite point)

Love this cache as I studied Geology many years ago. The family was always going to climb this formation and I just had to explain to the kids why the Granite crystals are large due to the slow sub surface cooling. Unlike Basalt that has a fine crystal matrix from contact with atmosphere. I don't really expect them to be excited but I was !! Thanks for this cache. A fav point from us and photo taken and will follow in a week or so.
We climbed to the top to a magnificent view. Got answers and photo.

Actually came for the traditional, thinking it wasn’t as far as the earthcache, and had the details for this one with us in case we felt enthusiastic. Fortunately read to the end of the instructions before heading down the hill again! Haven’t done this walk in years, so thanks for the excuse.
Made the walk up after riding up the bike path and stashing the bike in some bushes . Second time up here, the first being a few years ago before the Earthcache was here. There were three blokes up the top also enjoying the views while sinking beers and (strangely enough), playing some golf. Couldn't have been a better pastime at 9.45 in the morning on a perfect day. On our last visit to Victor, we climbed the Bluff for the traditional up here, however we had only loaded caches with terrain 2.5 or less onto the GPS and therefore missed out on seeing this one. Needless to say we were not happy campers when we got home and saw this one laughing at us! So we braved the climb again this morning. A beautiful spot and well worth a repeat visit but still got the heart racing. Email sent. Thanks Adrian Mc
First attempt walked the bluff got answers then forgot photo so had to rewalked at a later date. So second time around did it with my niece sisters and friends. Loved the view!! Tftc !!
Second trip up the Bluff in a week lol.. First time we went up first before doing this one, decided to come back today and do it instead, with other geo friend.. Great day for it and enjoyed doing my first earth cache, hopefully of many..
I hope you'll allow us to log this Earthcache, although we have failed to record the required information. We did make circuit walk to the top of Rosetta Head and took a photograph in the correct place.
This is the 947th find for WazzaAndWenches
Day three of our holiday to Victor Harbor. Today we're in Victor Harbor and relaxing.
Well, the weather was a bit less than ordinary but we ventured up The Bluff anyway (well, to the carpark, anyway).
After being thwarted by muggles at another nearby cache we managed to avoid them at this cache, not that it would have mattered, and find the relevant info and take the required photo.
It would have been nice to walk all the way to the top but an injury being nursed by one of our team meant we we limited to reasonable level ground. Unfortunately the cache and trig point at the top will have to wait for another time.
Anyway, info sent to the cache owner to verification and 'find' logged with permission.
Thanks Adrian Mc.
Day three of our holiday to Victor Harbor. Today we're in Victor Harbor and relaxing.
Well, the weather was a bit less than ordinary but we ventured up The Bluff anyway (well, to the carpark, anyway).

Enjoyed doing this cache even if it meant getting the heart beat up a bit. Thanks Adrian Mc
Had a great walk to the top even though the weather changed from sunny to rainy in a matter of minutes. At least the photos were taken while it was a blue sky! Thanks for another great earthcache and a greater appreciation of somewhere we have walked around without noticing up until now.
Enjoyed the short climb to this remarkable view of Granite Island etc..
Carried out the necessary instructions and took the attached photograph.

A great excuse to walk up to the top after so many years!! Great views and a great Earthcache......... thanks Adrian Mc!!!! Did this with Mooshelle_22 and Bronsen
Answers sent and photo logged as required. A very interesting walk and views of the area. Thanx for sharing it. Love the Earth caches.
Alas we had already got the other cache up on the top of the hill years ago, so had to trudge up there JUST for the photo . It IS a nice view, though [^]. E-mail sent and photo posted. Thanks for setting this up Adrian. Cheers.
Found with kggy on a very very cold trip to Victor Harbour. Email sent and photos to come. Thanks for the cache and the great views. Cheers from Darwin
Found today while taking gibbo003 for a drive. The wind was straight off the south pole and blowing a gale. Thx Adrain Mc for the cache
We visited Rosettas Head during our tour around the Fleurieu Peninsula. The view was worth the climb. Thanks for giving us a reason.

Acquired this earthcache as well as the nearby Trad on a great days caching around Victor Harbour.
The weather turned towards the end of the day, which meant that whilst it cooled considerably (which helped my silly decision to go straight for the top via the goat track rather than the more sedate trail), there was a concern that rain might hit before the safety of the car was reached. However, my luck held and the rain merely threatened.
Thanks for the interesting Earthcache and the strenuous hike!!

An interesting bit of the state. I have climbed it on a number of occasions in the past. The views are fantastic. Thanks for giving me the incentive to get to the top once again.
