Did a check today and it has gone along with the trackables - will get another container and replace
Found the container on the ground broken open and contents spread out. Contents have been through recent rains. Not sure where it was supposed to be so I placed it on the ground. Needs new container, contents soaked. Cheers
Left a couple of trackables including a new scouts one which I want other scout people to move on.

Mr Marauder found this one today - Find #96 for us and also (one of) 17th for the 31 days of geocaching. Got to GZ, signed log and were off to our next & one step closer to #100!
It was a cold, raining and really windy day today, but we had a goal to hit on International Geocaching Day so we weren't going to be giving up for the weather.
Thanks for a great hide!

I nearly left the carpark and would have missed this one.
A last minute decision to check "caches nearby" gave me a quick find and another cache for the day.
Thanks for the cache firesafe.

Nice quick find on way home from work. .. TFTC. . Nice area. . Must return on day with geopup and explore the place...
Last find for the day. Miss 6 found the cache easily, made a swap, signed the log and moved on. Good one to do in the school holidays.

Walked past this hundreds of times taking the kids the school. Easy find in the end. Hard to get it without being spotted.
Wandered off in the wrong direction but got back on track and found it pretty easily. Lots of muggles and their dogs. Snap lock bag could be changed as the log book is quite wet. TFTF
On my way to Coromandel Valley via Ironbank.
This reserve seems to be a popular dog walking area.
Found due to suspicious looking bark piled under a tree.
Everything was wet except for the log, tipped out the excess water.
Cheers firesafe for commending 10 years of caching at Coromandel Valley.

Didn't know this wetland existed so thanks for the cache. Took a while to find it but with 'help' from other logs I located this cache. Signed log but didn't take or leave anything.
Found in the darkness so I couldn't see much. The lid is cracked and everything was wet. I dried out the interior and put the logbook and swag in ziplock bags to keep dry until the container can be fixed. Took a TB and left a rope person. TFTC.
Quick find with Thornbury-Wanderers. Mr Seasand made the grab whilst I was watching Parrots trying to get out of the fruit netting nearby. Simples! Dropped off '30 Kisses' TB. T4TC
Pesky iPad having trouble today. Could not lock in coordinates. AussieSquirrel found this as well.
A warm day out. Initially couldn't find the cache as GPS lock was poor. Went for a lovely walk through the nearby wetland and met a lady with a 3 legged dog who swims wearing a high-vis life jacket!
On returning found the cache quickly. TN Left plastic spider and a butterfly. SL TFTC

Gave up on the other cache at Smithy's Dam, but we found this one at least. Took large marble and left super ball. Thanks.
Took a while to find as my coordinates kept shifting. SL and left a teddy bear toggle.
We were fortunate to find a handy parking area on this narrow road and strolled to the cache site. Not sure if this one is quite where it is supposed to be but it was easily spotted due to there not being very much cover over it. SL TFTC
Found It!
The cache is looking a little worst for wear but the log is reasonably dry...

We spotted this one a few days ago but the constant flow of muggles to and from the park prevented us from approaching the cache. It was a bit quieter today so we were able to sign the log book. The cache was quite exposed and the log book was wet. TFTC TNLN
Great spot but a bit of muggle traffic on Saturday morning. Log book was a bit damp too. TFTC
An easy find after retrieving the key too sqeaky's heart from a nearby multi. Thanks firesafe
GPS got a little confused under the trees and turned in circles but then finally put me within about 2 metres of cache.
TFTC
Left a Christchurch earthquake geocoin- hopefully bound for its home town. Took out the spider as I didn't think anyone else wanted to discover that..

Quick find with this one, the boys are having a great time making swaps all day! TFTC
Gps had us going every where.
Loved the bridge in park would have been a great spot for a cache.
Not sure if cache is actually in the park.

Nice area to walk around unfortunately no time today to do so

Found it after a fair bit of searching. The clue about it being waist-height is no longer relevant though (due to the new bike path), but it is easier to find now. The logbook needs to be dried.

ADE11-12. I came down here for a munzee and was happy to see a cache on the gps as well. The path does not seem to have made the cache any harder to get to. Thanks.

Nice tour around the area finding some good caches. A bit of a search soon had this one located. SL TFTC
Found it at third time of asking, blindingly obvious when you see it. Our youngest Coro Cacher found it, now very clear with the construction of the nearby cycle path.
Took first Greek geocoin and will set it in its way again.
Took the Coro cacher mutt for a walk into the Frank Smith Park and past the lake headed up the hill and soon found our way into the Blackwood foreest park which is another unheralded gem. Beautiful walk through field and forest into the warm setting spring sun. This kind of experience heralds the advantage of geocaching taking to local or far off gems that you might otherwise never find.

It was just on dusk when we got here, and I think we'll be back some time for a better look around!

Enjoy......

Was worried what with all the development around, but found it still in place. TFTC \fresafe.
The Council is building a cycleway right next to the cache but the container is still safe under a log and still accessible from the road but will be very accessible when the cycleway is finished.
Went and had a check today and although the council has done some work clearing the trees, the cache is still sitting there in its hidey hole
A relatively easy find on a visit to the Coromandel Valley.
It was a bit soggy and hard to write in the book

Bike riding, dog-walking and just plain walking muggles everywhere. Big, small, canine...everywhere. Quickly made the find. Brought cache back to the car for a drying out and clean. Logbook still OK. All good. TFTC firesafe.
Found cache sitting out with no cover and some water in container. Dried it off and put back with some cammo over it and lid firmly on.
Lobbed at the park to use the toilets but they were locked! Bugga!
Looked in the iPhone and saw this cache so very close. iPhone had me looking 10m from GZ. When I got out the Nokia with enhanced GPS I walked straight to the cache, and had a nice surprise - there were 2 gnomes lying on top. I wonder who put them there

TFTC cache is damp - needs to be more waterproof. Travel Bug missing cachingeeyore
while in the nearby area for a 21st we went for a stroll to find this cache and the. In the opposite direction to have a look at the wetlands. wouldn't mind taking longer and having an even better look sometime. Picked up the TB keyring but left no swap as we had none with us. TFTC
Yet another cacher that was attending the 21st here!
As we arrived IRAC- had just finished replacing the cache, but we decided to leave it until after we had said hello before going for a walk back to GZ. In the end we looked around the wet lands first, and then went back, had a drink, and continued on our way to GZ. With some dodgy sat lock it was down to looking at the likely place and searching there. Easy as that!

Used to come down here 30+ years ago to walk the dog and play in the reserve! Thanks for the memories firesafe!
Found on the way home from another bight duty. Took nothing left 2 coins, SL. Thanks Scott for the cache.
Cannot believe we retireved the Gnome from atop this cache only to NOT feel the cache but come back after all the Gnome possibilities were exhausted and decided to cache then came back to this one increduliously!!
Great Hidey hole!
Found in the company of Chillibutts and Family

I can only echo MtnLioness's comments! Ridiculous... and unfortunately it was me who bagged the gnome and didnt notice that it was sitting on a cache! ooops. And based on the parked cars... thinking this is a local "lovers lane"... glad we didnt look too closely. TFTC
Found easily after checking out the wetlands, must say we were surprised to see them here.

Just a note to say I have dropped off the Tom Gobbler TB at the cache - sorry it is a bit on the big side, have had trouble finding somewhere to leave it.

Easy find, after muggles and dogs left us alone,
The past finders have done a good job drying the contents.
No sign of the travellers in the cache,
TFTC and bringing us to this pretty park.
No idea it was here and we've been along Main Rd many many times.
