Returned with previous finders today after a nearby trail. Confirmed cache not where they found some time ago. Much rubbish and scattered drink remains etc.
Worth a check when in the area. thanks

Another nice old building at the gz I came to, but no sign of the cache container, and lots of rubbish, broken ceramics, bottles etc under the bushes and around only logs I could see :/

Find Number 2424
The Booo's found this cache,
In S. A. for the mega event and decide today to head to victor harbour. Now what day out isn't complete with a spot of caching. So as we drove past this church we collected the needed info and took the detour to GZ where if it wasn't for the fences we would have been attacked by what I am nearly convinced are killer sheep.
Thanks Cruiz-n for placing this cache
This log was generated using a combination of GSAK and iGeoKnife iPhone app

An easy little multi that we enjoyed finding. We always like caching out in the countryside and exploring the backroads.
Thanks Cruiz-n.
Thanks Cruiz-n.
South Australia 2013 with Sol de Lune. We headed off on 12/4 and arrived home on 28/4. The trip was to visit the SA series so more time could be spent at the Mega itself next year. We did a huge variety of caching around Murray Bridge, the Mid North, Yorke Peninsula and Whyalla Region. Apart from one wet night and two wet days we were able to spend heaps of time caching.
Today we were heading to the forty winks series and managed a few along the way. We have enjoyed a few more multis than expected on this trip, so it was good to see these locations.
Thanks.

Grabbed with albida on our 2 week caching run from Canberra to, and around, different parts of South Australia including Loxton, Murray Bridge, Tailem Bend, Yorke Peninsula and around to Whyalla before heading home via Broken Hill, Cobar and Parkes. We completed a few power trails and left a couple to do when in the area again for next years Mega event.
Overall a great many different styles and types of caches found. A great time was had caching for 16 days straight as well as camping along the way.
Thanks for adding to the fun with this cache.

Today was the last of our short trip over from Vic, so bogonghazy and I were keen to clean up round Victor Harbor as much as possible before heading off for the journey home to Ballarat. This one was found, logged and returned in quick time, which was exactly what we were hoping for today. A delightful old structure. Thanks to Cruiz-n for the cache.
Found with Sully1 on our last day in Victor Harbour enroute to Ballarat today.
This was a terrific trip with great weather and friendly welcoming cachers to meet and greet.
A huge variety of hides had us on our toes, and a huge thanks to all the local cachers who provided the fun for us. Thanks again Cruiz-n

I enjoyed your simple multi. Sad to see the church and house like that.
Thanks Cruiz-n for the cache.
Thanks Cruiz-n for the cache.
Seems my maths is lacking today, the area didn't match the clue.
Decided to keep pressing on, hopefully can fix the problem 4 next time.
Cheers cruiz-n for a great historical spot.

Well I entered the new coords about 4 times before I saw my mistake. Then It was an easy drive and followed the geo trail from a few days ago to the prize. After seeing nobody around for ages two cars passed me as I was stopped here. Loved the old ruin. Yes they did it tough back then. Thanks for bringing me her cruiz-n. A fav for adventure.
Checked out cache today and it is still there, so I have now relisted it with a clue.
Looks like it may have gone missing again so I am disabling it until I return from the UK and can check it out
No luck here, answered all questions at first beautiful building and then headed to GZ. Hunted and hunted, lots of long fresh and wet grass here! Didnt find but loved the spot, thanks Cruiz-n.
Found by Mary & David at 1535. Almost looked like a church. Whether a church, a hall ,or a house, wish those stones could tell the story. Hope as well as the inevitable sadness was doubtless experienced here. Hope there was happiness too. Our thanks to Cruiz-n.
Checked this one out today and yes it has gone missing. Bit surprised there is no trace of it in such a quiet spot. Anyway, a new container is now in place.
I know that we have the right location, but as no one has logged as found since January I'm not sure if it's still there. Will watch with interest to see if any one logs this as found. Great ruin though
We collected the required info at the rather interesting ruin. It's a pity that someone has seen fit to store waste tires within its walls and headed off to GZ. Another very interesting site. These sites are fascinating for Mrs C, she's a geologist that is also a qualified archaeologist and loves places like this. TFTC.
There is plenty of history around here. The cache was found about 10m from GZ. Lying on the ground. In the open. I suspect an animal has picked it up. Anyhow I replaced it at GZ.
Waldron drove to this one quicker than I could get the numbers into the TomTom. It happens sometimes. So we arrived. I looked at GZ. Waldron looked at GZ. 10/10 for Waldron!! Loved the old house (pic). Clear skies!
We got the info quickly, but Astro couldn't get the numbers right into his Tom Tom.
We got there eventually and then found the cache where Astro had looked.

Out for the afternoon on a quest to make 5000 finds by next Saturday. Started at Kanantoo and headed through to Strathalbyn. Found 27 for the day - only 9 to go now.
Quick calcs then on the road to GZ. Left a geocoin. TFTC.

Did the sums and had no difficulty in locating the cache and signing the log.
We wondered what the old pioneers would have thought of the great trucks and trailers that thundered past while we were doing the cache.
Thanks DavMal60 for the cache.

We love looking at the old places and get a feeling for the history and life back then. Passed a beautifully restored stone cottage on the way to WP1. Could see us living in that one. A quick find at WP2 among some bees. Left a compass and a klem bear and took a dog.
This was a very enjoyable multi found during an extremely hot afternoon. Nice historic locations, very much appreciated. Thanks for the cache DavMal60!
On our way to Strathalbyn to have midday meal with someone. Found with Mooshell. TFTC. TNLN. SL.
Ingrid wanted to head out to Narrung today, and we happened to be travelling close by to this cache. Added that we enjoy ruins this was a 'must do'.
Just the kind of multi I like.

nice buildings and a simple multi. thanks for the insight into the past. Fred & I hopped the fence, stood in the old house and we imagined.......... swapped finger puppet for a bag clip thing.... TFTC
Just visiting a trackable through that we found in the cache on our previous visit that was not logged in Cheers
Nice quick multi and nice old buildings, shame they are more ruins now than useful. TFTC
Enjoyable straightforward multi. With harvest in full swing the normally quiet roads were very busy with trucks and harvesters. TFTC
Often thought about placing a cache here ourselves, its great to see someone else with the same idea, enjoyable multi with a fitting GZ TNLN TFTC
a little late logging these caches did this on a caching day out with froghoppin
Considering how many times i have passed this area i have never
been tempted to drive that road.. now i wish i had earlier
must have been tought times TFTC cheers

[^] Nice easy multi,
We often think about the pioneers and what they did,
Especially in those more remote places, where visitors would've been rare,
let alone the lack of the advancements made in the past hundred years.
Thanks for the hunt and the cache.
