The peach container is gone, only the lid is left sitting on top of the plastic bag. Waterproof while the bag lasts but you better replace the container soon to be sure.

This cache was found on Day One of our four Day Adelaide Caching Tour, with TriBre, Fairybum, Mastamak, KidzJCT and Running as Teams BosNewellgus and Gummy Dales. Team BosNewellgus (Mastamak and TriBre) had arrived on the morning flight in from Brisbane and had a full day of sunlight before Team Gummy Dales arrived.

Having stopped and refueled after our flight from Brisbane (I slept as much as I could on the flight as we had been up till passed midnight with a first to find hunt before our 6am flight!) Even in our tried state, there was caches to be found and we had the daylight to do it! We started with the Premiers of SA, then on to It's a small world and followed by the Australian Prime Ministers Series. There was a few odd ones on the way...Even a STF.

With the large volume of finds I have written a generic log. I would like to thank the CO's for creating a Great time out and I can assure you fun was had by all. I believe we will be planning another trip to SA....

This was the 112nd find of 154 finds for the day in SA, with no DNF's for the day Fantastic! We also had a midnight First to Find grab in Queensland before our Trip.

Found with TriBre and Mastamak while in Adelaide on a four day geocaching excursion from Brisbane.

Thank you to all cache owners on a fantastic bunch of geocaches.

24-Apr-13
Found with TriBre and our team BosNewellgus.

We were down from Brisbane for 4 days of geocaching. KidzJCT and Fairy Bum were flying in later that night. As the advance party this was our chance to test the SA geocaching landscape.

We got into Adelaide at about 9am and were tired after an early flight which followed a midnight FTF hunt back in Brisbane. But that wasn’t going to stop us and after a quick food stop and quick stop to collect our first South Australian cache we were off to complete a few powertrails today in particular PSA, APM and It’s a Small World as well as many individual cahces.

I hope everyone in SA realise how good they have it here geocaching wise. A geocache almost everywhere you turn. We had a fantastic time while here and no doubt will be back again sometime. A big thank you to all cache owners whose caches we found.

Due to the volume of caches found I have only written a generic log. This should in no way detract from the fun we had in finding each and every cache.

South Australia 2013 with Sol de Lune. We headed off on 12/4 and arrived home on 28/4. The trip was to visit the SA series so more time could be spent at the Mega itself next year. We did a huge variety of caching around Murray Bridge, the Mid North, Yorke Peninsula and Whyalla Region. Apart from one wet night and two wet days we were able to spend heaps of time caching.

Today is for the Its a small world and Premiers of SA series. Along with a few caches to get there and back to Gawler. After waiting for some youngsters to pass by going who knows where out here we were able to collect this cache.

Thanks.

This cache was found by Team PacketStorm and Team Indiana08 whilst completing their designated mission to SA. The teams set out together on the 01/02/13 to 09/02/13 to gain as many smiley's as they could in a short amount of time. Both teams logs will be exactly the same but I can assure you much fun was had by all.

Thank you to all cache owners who have placed and maintained these caches.

Day 7, 07/02/13, We set off from Mallala again this morning and completed the 'APM' series. We then found as many caches as we could around the area and stopped for the night in Gawler. We ended up with 67 finds for the day.

One of the things I do when travelling in the country is look for the tallest piece of infrastructure to appear over the tree tops and/or hills. I first saw this goliath from many miles away and watched it gradually get bigger as I got closer to town.

Thanks for the cache Team Bowyer.

Caching today with Robmc and The Morris. Stopped for this one on the way into Owen for a break whilst having a huge day doing the APM, the PSA and the It's a Small World series of caches. These water towers are pretty impressive and with their tiny windows going up the sides I always think of the story of Rapunzel. TFTC

Spent today caching with The Morris and Bettyboo3747, driving around the Northern Plains
It wasn't the first time we had seen a tower of this design, and a little later we saw more.
We walked into its shade and made a quick find.
Thanks, Robmc.

Nice little town is this one.

26-Aug-12
Arrived at the area to find golfers everywhere. Turn on stealth mode. A pedestrian stops and says going for a tee-off? No, just visiting, I said. Ahhh, you wouldn't be looking for a cache would you? he says. Oops, sprung. After a bit of a chat we found out that he knows the cache owner and knows the cache is nearby. After parting pleasantries were over we quickly found the cache, signed the log, made some swaps and replaced the cache without being noticed. Took a tigger figurine and left some Coopers cuff links. TFTC Team Bowyer!

10-Aug-12
After meeting a few local caching teams for dinner Wednesday night we headed off to Mallala to try our luck at the power trails here, as we liked the theme behind each one. We got through "It's a small World" yesterday but ran out of light. We camped locally for a nice early start first thing in the morning and after finishing another well set out power trail we started heading north towards Whyalla. Goliath is a bit of an imposing feature on this otherwise fairly flat farm landscape and you would have pretty good views from standing on his head. We pulled up at Goliath's feet and followed the GPSr needle to a fairly quick find and have now added our name to the log.
Thanks for the cache.

Found during a massive 24 hour cache-a-thon with Rediguana, ADV, Hello Mrs and Pohutukawa - on the homeward stretch of our Oz MEGA trip.
We did 231 caches in this one day - a new personal best and an Australian record (until growingupisoptional put it in its place just one week later).

Sorry for the generic logs.
We had an awesome time with the TdF, APM and much of the NXY serries' of caches, as well as many others in between. Unfortunately they were all a blur in long, long, day.

A quick find on a bit of an adventure day for the Grumpy drag along (geohubby) to help Burton's reach 2000 by new years. We arrived at GZ to find another car... People with GPSrs. Geocachers. J&J. Hi guys. Nice cache. Big tower.

25-Jun-11
When we pulled up here, we thought we had the place to ourselves. That was until Freddo jumped out of the Oleander at us! Well, not quite jumped, but it sure put us on the back foot until I realised who it was! Glenn from Team Waldron appeared as well, very pleased to make your acquaintance.

After a brief discussion of the toxicity of Oleander, we were all humble enough to allow Freddo the finding and retrieving duties.

We dropped a coin here, but it basically ended up in someone else's pocket.

Thanks Team Bowyer.

There was no missing this big tower, although took us a few minutes to locate the cache, until we looked properly!

I never connected the names of the two towers until just now, as I sit down to write the logs Red Face. Even while standing beneath it and thinking “Yes, that’s why it’s called Goliath – because it’s pretty big”, the association to the other one that I had just come from escaped me Red Face. Duh! This is the first cache I have been able to ride my push bike from home to retrieve. That makes it a first for me on the bike. Tried to leave something that was rather big but nothing appropiate in the caching bag so dropped off a few biblical reminders. Thanks Team Bowyer.
