I do plan on repairing the cache. The weather has been horrible and we have not gone down there for a bit. We plan to go down within the next few weeks.
It appears the cache disappeared again after it was replaced, I had insufficient supplies and couldn't replace at the time. Cache will be back soon
I am going down to Middleton in the next week or so and will bring the cache repair kit with me.
Thanks for the notice and happy caching

I'd found this one last year but hadn't logged it so took the geokids back for what should've been an easy find but after a good half hour we still couldn't find it
Ants, rubbish, more rubbish, more ants and no cache was found. A large bush was searched...it was next to another large bush which was adjacent to the large bush.
Lots of ants, some rubbish, no wattle, no bees, no muggles, no cache.

Had a quick look at 5:00 am this morning without any success in the dark, came back later with the wife who then made the find.
Container was wet inside but log book was ok tipped out the water inside and could not see how it got in there ,guess it could do with a look at.
Thanks for the cache Black Ice Champ

Our fist full day in Victor Harbor, BettyBoo3747 and I jumped the Cockle Train to Goolwa, rode around there a bit, had some lunch, then rode back to Victor Harbor. Took us a bit longer than we thought so we didn't get as many caches as we planned. Beautiful weather for a ride.
The cache wasn't the only gold colored item here today - the wattle was in full flower!
Between that and the long lush grass it was a tricky find. Fortunately BB almost stepped on it and I spotted it behind her foot.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 6648. Awoke to a beautiful almost Spring day so Plan A was ready to be put into place. This entailed a walk from the Caravan Park to the Bike Shop to collect the treadlies, collect a few caches , jump on the Cockle Train to Goolwa, grab some caches, admire the scenery, have lunch, ride back to Victor Harbour with a few more cache finds along the way. A big day and got the bikes back to the shop with 10 minutes to spare.
It is time to find our way out of Goolwa onto the bike track and head for Victor Harbor. We rode past this one and had to return. It was difficult to find an approach to GZ and Rob got magpied in the process. Eventually through a bit of good luck we found it.
Thanks Black Ice Champ

Must have looked highly suspicious to passing muggles when we scrambled out of the hiding spot. Great fun. TFTC.
Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia.
With being so chilly overnight we had a fairly late start to the morning but soon decided we should head for Goolwa regardless.
A truly wonderful winters day exploring the area using Geocaches as our guide.

I was lucky enough to get a phone call to see if I wanted to head out for the day with a wonderful group of people to locus cache some smileys.....so what could I say to that offer but YES!! [^]
I picked up Honeysucker who gracefully allowed himself to be a passenger in Harry and deal with my driving and off we went to meet Mogni of the fantastic giggle, Aussie M&M of the kind heart, great hugs and tall stature and Brisal5 of the split pants.
By the time Honeysucker and I left the others to head home, I had 38 smileys and 4 DNFs but the laughter and fun the group shared all day far outweighed those few missed smileys!
Good thing we had supplies on board as this cache was in a sad and sorry state.
Cleaned up and refilled and all good again now

Mogni was back in town for the weekend so a GOTHS escapade to Victor was Planned. I was lucky enough to score a seat in the Gothmobile with both Aussie M & Ms and mogni. We were soon to be joined by Honeysucker and Locus Cache in Harry.
Found the cache okay but the only thing that wasn't wet, rusty and totally useless was the container. The contents went into the bin, the container got dried and new contents and bling added. Thanks for the hunt Black Ice Champ

A recent trip to Victor alerted us to just how many caches there are down there, so a trip was planned for mogni, brisal5 and the Aussies. It was a magnificent 16hrs of sunshine (until sunset), laughter and adventure and at the end of the day we had around 80 finds, 2 FTFs and a handful of DNFs. For most of the day we had Locus and Honeysucker in tow, who added more fun and laughter to a great day out.
2nd cache in a row that has had to have maintenance. The cache contents were replaced. TFTC Black Ice Champ.

Found caching with Ben7726 could not sign due to log being weather damaged
We are staying at the caravan park and visiting rellies, so today I thought I would go for a walk to the cache.
It turned out to be a bit further than I expected (about 8kms round trip) but it was a nice day and I enjoyed wndering around the back streets of Goolwa.
The cache is pretty wet, but the log book only damp. Luckily it is where it is as I was nicely hidden from the many people using the bike track while I signed the log.
Thanks Black Ice Champ.

Finally, one of has our p's!!! We started off the cold morning at 8:30 to go see the little sisters play netball in Myponga and then to Victor Harbor to watch the little brothers play Hockey. After that, we were off on a caching adventure to Goolwa, which resulted in 12 finds and 4 sore feet (2 each).
Quick find and it took the same amount of time getting the pollen off of our clothes

Tftc. Nephew found pretty quick. Log a little damp but still ok for now. Took the TB hoping to relocate it a few hundered kms south.
After being away for a blokes weekend at a fisherman's shack on the Coorong, I dropped Richard off at Goolwa South and decided I'd better grab a nearby cache to fill another hole on my Caching Calender.
I ended up over thinking this and soon realized the cache was right there by my foot.
Spent the next 10 minutes stopping the bitey ants.

Cache found in the last place we looked, which was as usual not the first place we looked after a text discussion with the previous finder. I left my swaps in the Pahero and I did not have anything of equal value in my pockets. Thanks for the cache guys, we love your work.

After a change shoes and going round and round in circles (naughty GPS on iPhone) finally found this tricky guy. Lots of bike activity to avoid. Took the trackable for another trip. I love reading where they have been when I get home. There is a nice new hotel in they city. TFTC
Found It!
I climbed into the bush looking for the cache and then a cyclist arrived. He got off his bike adjusted it, read the sign, adjusted something else, sat down for a rest and then finally moved on... I then climbed out of the bush and soon found where it was actually hidden.

Our Christmas Day cache. Thank you.
After lunch with the family and some chatting time we needed a little activity. This provided just the amount we needed.
